Great luxury hotel right next to the World Forum Convention Centre in Den Haag.
Great service. Nice personel!
Great food! Esspecially the breakfast and brunch.
The rooms are very clean and are getting cleaned every day.
The gym, indoor pool and spa are great to calm the mind.
And the interior is very nice and clean.

Much better than expected. The balcony rooms in particular are simple - in a good way - and the beds are very comfortable. Delightful staff and a nice sauna downstairs.

This is not a 5 star hotel, it's a 3-4 at best.
The views are of a petrol station.
There is one lift between hundreds of rooms.
The stairs are utterly filthy, more like service stairs in a 2 star hostel.
There is no hair conditioner in the rooms or anywhere in the hotel, we were told "ask at the garage".
The spa is filthy. Really dirty (stains all over the floors and glass and bits ceiling coming down in toilets and smelly (badly of damp) and just weirdly dark - noone there to help either. They didn't seem too concerned when I reported it.
Terrible location - too far from the beach and too far from town.
Service at bar was unfriendly at best.
Breakfast was average so at least that's one tick.
Probably fine if you're there on business but not for any other reason (couples, families, holiday).response / report this review -

The Crown Plaza is nestled in a green area, which is an off leash area, with a lot of walking area (and a lake if you wish to rent a boat). The hotel is also dog friendly allowing me to bring my pet. The hotel staff were superb going above and beyond on a daily basis for everyone.

Really friendly staff, which I appreciate. I definitely feel I received 5 star customer service. The location is also great for dogs - which are permitted here - with the hotel surrounded by off-leash walking areas in the Scheveningen woods.
I only remove one star from my rating because I have had issues with booking a massage: I was never contacted back after I requested one. Additionally, in the evening the spa area can be a bit unkempt, with old towels piled up causing a bad smell.
I would, however, not hesitate to stay here again. The price is good for the service you receive.response / report this review -

4 star, NOT a 5 star hotel ! Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty good hotel but if you look at the the details, and maybe even more, you quickly realize that this is not up-to the standards of a 5 star hotel.
BUT: we had a very nice Club room and of course the staff was friendly.
NEG: Breakfast wasn't worth the 23 EUR the charged us !response / report this review -

Had a room in the refurbished part if the hotel. Room was pretty nice and clean. Big TV. Breakfast is delicious. Big choice of bread and rolls, fruits, cereals. Free water in the lobby.

Expensive! 3 euros for a soda or a bottle of water. We had an event here with dance workshops during the day and the prohibited us bringing our own water (even though event price was already quite expensive). Also, use of the toilets was 3 euros as well. Total rip off Never going back there

FYI, I was staying in a renovated room
+ Room was large, nicely decorated, nicely equipped
+ large bathroom
- carpet in the room
- cleaningness of the room was not at 5* level
- problem with the drain pipes (bad smell, water didn't leave the sink)
- provided shower gel bottle was already opened (+ however I called reception and they directly brought me new shower gel)response / report this review -

Nice hotel, little bit noise. The curtains can't contain the light so the blackouts are useless The pool looks nice and all the spa is great.
