Beautiful location, with private parking (free) and close to a bus stop. Good food, nice service. It has a nice outdoor place for lunch, and a large indoor saloon nicely decorated.

We had dinner at The restaurant. The food was good, we haven't had to wait for it long and the staff was polite. The card was not so big but the things they serve are nice. Didn't see a kids menu on it but i think that they can serve something like it if you ask.

The rooms are not that modern, but very charming. The hotel is located in a high class area with lots of awesome villas. The hotel itself looks very nice. Free Wifi. Free Parking. Nice breakfast. Helpful and nice staff. Unfortunately no minibar/fridge in the room. After 5 minutes by car you're at beautiful Wassenaar Beach.

Beautiful location in a quiet green area, friendly staff and classic decor, it has its own parking lot an a bus stop to Den Haag is nearby.

I have spend many nights here in 2013 and 2014 while on a business assignment, so I believe I can judge what was offered then.
The hotel is definitely past its prime. Rooms (and I have seen most of them of them from the inside) are very comfortable and well appointed, but in a romantic / classic / dated style. Bathroom facilities are definitely outdated and not up to standard.
Prices are not overly high, but one expects more.
The restaurant serves very good meals, but in small portions. Staff is very professional, but lacked a personal touch that made me looked after. As a returning customer I did not always feel welcome.

I can recommend de Kieviet but don't expect the best.
