A superbly comfortable charmingly old-fashioned hotel with great decor and splendid cordial service. I will definitely return. The hotel's location is wonderful, overlooking the beautiful park.

The location is centrally located in the city. Near to a few tourist attractions and plenty of restaurants surrounded. Everything is in walking distance. Rooms are classic but fully equipped with a modern furniture. Friendly and helpful staff. I like the classic way how a cup of tea being served.

Beautiful inner dining area. Drink service was friendly and quick. If I were looking for a unique, charming hotel to stay at in the center of The Hague this would be on the top of my list.

Great hotel (historic building kept up well) and wonderful staff at door & check-in. Unique rooms and common areas. Bartender was cool as well. Restaurant staff for breakfast was slow and forgetful and caused me to be late which was the only bad thing. Nice fitness club in basement.

This is THE place to stay in The Hague, if not all of South Holland. It is a beautiful hotel with outstanding service and a wonderful sense of history. The rooms are large and beautifully appointed, and compared to hotels in Amsterdam, it's actually a great value. We are very happy we chose to spend several nights here as a base for visiting South Holland beyond Amsterdam. Highly recommended.

Located in a serene surrounding which hosts some interesting events like antique exhibition or food truck festivals. At the same time it is accessible to many restaurants and eatries and even to trams and shopping.The hotel has an old history and the decor has retained that history with antiques n paintings. Feels exclusive and a place worth even visiting for high tea or drinks. Nice staff! The Breakfast hostess guided us to an old town for visit called Deft and had a lovely time there. Limited options for English TV channelsneeds improvement on that

A bit of classical glory hidden in the heart of The Hague. Since a complete restyling a few years ago, the hotel again breathes the old colonial splendor, but with a modern touch. Friendly service, great cocktails and a great place to meet with friends and chat, although admittedly, the cocktail selection has recently been limited to a few classics on the bar menu. Still excellent, but I would love to see the cocktail menu return!

I broke into a huge smile when I saw Hotel Des Indes for the first time. Such a beautiful building standing out in one of the more charming neighborhoods I've seen in a while. The staff accommodated a very early check in for me (early flight arrival - and I was very tired). I cracked the windows and slept wonderfully for several hours, than hit the Escher Museum right next door. There are wonderful restaurants, shops, and bars just right down the street. Room is clean and nicely appointed (perhaps a teeny bit outdated, but it's still wonderful) and the rain shower is fantastic. Excited to try out the pool in the basement and the spa on this my final day.

Only been to the hotel bar, but the food and drink were incredibly well-crafted. Mixers, syrups and garnishes for the drinks were all handmade by the staff.

Wide variety of top shelf liquors and the bartenders are very well versed in how to make a good cocktail. If you can't think of something you want, they'll make you one from scratch.

Polished service from a young and highly trained staff. They are very proud of the history of their establishment. The restoration was handsomely undertaken with some fascinating hand drawn murals on the guest room floors - worth a stroll around if you are staying here. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Lots of good things to say about this hotel. Best location. Great staff. Every amenity I look for in a hotel. And, for a European hotel, they actually had a passable gym. As a regular global traveler, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who wants some luxury, style, and location. Only critiques: They should not allow children in their Health Club accept for maybe certain hours of the day, and there should be two bar tenders during peak hours.
