Unless you want your wife to cry, don't stay here! So many problems, where to begin. Thin walls, heard our passionate neighbors regularly. Multiple leaks, so I hope you love water. A great example of their buffet options: sliced hot dogs in spaghetti noodles, no sauce. All inclusive does not include internet, be prepared to pay quite a bit extra for that service. And our icing on the cake? Picked up the phone to make a call on our 6th day or so, and there was used chewing gum stuck to the bottom side of the handset. We had used the phone prior, so it could only have been a hotel employee who put it there. If we had more money we would have switched hotels after the first 2 nights, it was just awful.

the employees are liars, they don't care what promise you, they change their mind and don't care nothingthey simulate calls to other employee to deny things. they are a gorup of corrupt people
the water in the toilet is yellow, like if always is urine there, no clean water

I went to Yalmakan in December it was not the best experience. The room looked nice and had a great view but when it rained, the room floor flooded. The hotel was in renovation and the food was not that great, and not enough options. You will go hungry at this hotel. The only thing good about this place was the drinks.

If you are looking for something calm and slower paced stay at this place. the beach is beautiful and price is very reasonable. The further you are from the "downtown" area the cheaper the hotels are.

Horrible experience. We woke up to water all over the floor due to a leak in BOTH rooms we reserved. The water was extremely cold for the shower. We ended up booking another hotel because it was so bad. You could here the people In the other room next door to you as if they were in the exact same room. Everything was under construction. The food was disgusting. I just called to try and see if we could get a refund because we didn't stay there the entire time we booked it and they said they couldn't give us a refund because we are still in the rooms. I'm currently back in Houston already and I'm very confused on how I'm still in the room.
