The hotel was spectacular the view, private beach and super cute. Food was good. Service was excellent.. the only thing was the room we got was too dark for my taste.

pictures of rooms are not up to date, no a/c the mini split does not cool. entry door to room difficult to close or open. pool area trashy, beach view very pretty but disappointed on every thing. moving to new location tomorrow, thank goodness

Rooms not quite as nice as expected, but the food from the restaurant is excellent and having a private beach is nothing to complain about. Located on a nice quiet part of the island, walking distance to Punto Sur, which I highly recommend.

Wonderful location. Friendly staff. Absolutely stunning view of the sunset. 100 pesos to get beach access if you're not a hotel guest. A must if you're visiting Isla Mujeres.

A little gem on Isla mujeres. The beach is small but very nice. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves.. It's is a beach club, so you have to pay 100 pesos to use the beach and chairs. We snorkeled there and had our best time snorkeling. Staff was friendly and helpful. Osyters we're good. I would good there again.

Staff are lovely and very accommodating but the pictures fooled us!! We felt a bit mugged off for the price we paid, it's the wrong side of Isla and very run down.

Maria's Kan Kin has clearly put most of their money into the restaurant and the beach area. The beach was lovely with a great view and lots of reclining chairs to sit in next to the infinity pool. The room we had was large, with a sitting area, a futon pad on a concrete pad that could be used as a couch, and a queen bed. The air conditioner, ceiling fan, and fridge work once plugged in/turned on. There is wifi in the public areas that works pretty well.

The office says that they're open 3 pm to 10 pm. I let them know that we were coming on the 8:30 pm ferry and would be there around 9:30 pm. They responded that someone would be there to welcome us and let us in. The hotel is located down a very steep broken road. We arrive and the gate is cracked open, all the lights are dark, and there's no one around. We wait around for awhile next to the office, then finally see a tiny white button outside the gate (same color as the wall). When we press that after about 5 minutes a grumpy security guard shows up, says that we should check in tomorrow, and gives us a key. The room is around 85 degrees and stuffy. The fridge is open and unplugged. The water in the bathroom takes 5 minutes to warm up and by the time it's warm, the shower pan is full and so we're unable to shower without flooding the room. For a place that promised us three or four times that there would be a warm welcome despite the late hour, this is hardly what was expected. When we tried to check in the next morning, there was no one around until somewhere very close to noon despite that being check out time. The office seemed to also be closed again by 2 pm. The room has clearly had a bunch of water damage; there are water stains under every window and on the ceiling and the ceiling fan had to be relocated. The bed is hard and the pillows are flat hockey pucks. The air conditioner leaks water on the left side of the bed. All of the decorating looks like it's left over from the 1960s and hasn't been updated. The bath towels are patched and have grey stains on them. The floor is painted concrete and the headboard of the bed is painted concrete with ribbons(?) glued to it. The mismatched crockery on top of the fridge rattles every time the compressor turns on. One would think this was a $50 room in downtown Cancun, but no, it's more than $150 a night. The toilet in the room broke halfway through the night.

Nice and close to where we are staying at Casa Bonita and had numberous meals there. All have been GREAT fresh fish, great drinks, and even better environment and views. Don't miss this hidden place.

Stopped in for some sunset snacks. Got the guacamole and chips, and some fish tacos to share. Mrs got a margarita that was tasty as expected, well balanced. Food was v tasty. Staff v friendly and had good English (we are learning slowly).

The views are amazing. The atmosphere relaxed. Looks like a great place to stay
High recommended. :)
