José was our server who worked poolside. His shift was like 3-8. He really made the trip for me. He went out of his way to make our stay the best he could, which was amazing! Leaving him was hard and we only stayed for a week. He is a dedicated, hardworking employee. 5/5.

Excellent resort hotel with large pools, beach access, convenient to the city and many excursions. Rooms are individually owned and vary from old to fully remodeled. Use vrbo or airbnb to book direct from owners.

Great spot to vacation in Cabo. Located on Medano Beach, the only swimmable beach around. Nice amenities, good restaurants nearby.

Owned a place here for years and never had an issue, but this stay proved to be a different story. Our room was not ready, which was fine, we were a little early. But we went to Wal-Mart and bought food, which was an issue. The reservation agent told me the groceries would be delivered to the room. But when we talked outside, the groceries were still outside. To add to it all, the room was not ready when promised. Sitting in the lobby i noticed how the service has gone downhill. Plus, you only have to deal with th staff once.

The accommodations and staff are excellent. All of the restaurants are fantastic, the pools are super clean and well maintained. It is more family types or quieter patrons at the Estancia so it was perfect for the family. My only complaint was the vendors on the beach. This isn't even the fault of the hotel, is just Cabo. I have been other places in Mexico and it's not like this, I am giving it 4 just based on how much this detracted from the trip. If you are going to come here, is definitely worth staying here, just be prepared for what is here.

Great place, the water is too rough to swim. There are Youtube videos of people nearly drowning infront of this hotel. Not much of a beach, but the pool area is nice just get out early for a spot. The scenery is very nice. Food was good but there are three hotels that share the few food spots, so it gets busy and guests are often pushy. Otherwise it was nice and the staff were very nice. Nice gym. It was a good time!

I can only speak to the Owners experience but this is one of the best places to stay in Cabo. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are gigantic, beautiful and have all the amenities of home. There is a fairly large gym with enough equipment for all. The resort restaurants are definitely a little pricey and not as good as things you can get in town but they are convenient. The poolside lounges are also a struggle to claim because of people being too greedy with how many they need. Overall, a fantastic place to stay and is conveniently close to downtown.

Absolutely awful service by the poolside. Rude bartenders, drinks are way over priced ($15 a shot), and rules are beyond strict for the money that is payed to stay there. I wouldnt recommend nor would ever come back to this hotel.

Villa la Estancia is a great place to take your family on a Cabo vacation. We have been coming here for several years now. The staff, Ramón, Tera, Luis and the others are great. They work hard to make your trip satisfying. The pool is great for the kids to play and for us to relax around. Years ago, I used to stay near the marina when I would come to Cabo alone or with friends but I do not feel safe there anymore, especially with family in tow.

La Estancia is not cheap but it offers value for your dollar and is a fine place from which to explore the Baja. Cabo Pluma National Marine Park, Todos Santos, and La Paz are all accessible by car in a day (although La Paz really needs an overnight visit). There are lots of dining options close by and around the Marina if you decide to not cook in your own condo.

The staff and facilities and beach Absolutely awesome! Great experience! Staff at La Casona restaurant - Bernardo, Karla, Luciano, Juan and everyone else - all fantastic! Sebastian and Carlos at main desk - outstanding performance!
