Peacefully clean!
Beautiful condos, great views
Amenities are fantastic, view is incredible, staff is helpful. Though I stay in the condo that my family owns so your mileage may vary
Relaxing place with great view
Good long term rental option with a view. Need a car to get most places but it is a good place to stay.
Very nice, beautiful view. Overall it was great.

Alegranza is not a hotel! It is a poorly located and built mid-range condo and beware the condo owners who rent units out writing false positive reviews all over the net. The truth is this complex is terrible and you will see others agree. But in a nutshell here's why:
#1- Sub-par Amenities: the pools, garden, restaurants, gym and tennis court are all abysmal. The little chipping green is a bad joke. Tennis court is weird sand/carpet, the gym is tiny and cramped with old machines, the pools are small and deserted/depressing, the pool side restaurant was staffed with just a phone. Really disappointed with these.
#2 - the showers have no water pressure and hot water is an issue - unacceptable for a relatively new building like this. Builder cut corners and users now have to suffer.
#3 - the location is not central, it is a steep 15-20 min walk to anywhere in San Jose. You can walk to the beach but because the hotels block the entrance I think the only public beach entrance is extremely unpleasant.
#4 - the contract/collection practices are sketchy - you pay everything up front and because its a condo, there is no way the staff can authorize any adjustments for things not working. We had no hot water, no internet, pipes whistling all night and the "owner" of the unit offered us a free meal in the unknown Alegranza restaurant. We rented a car through the "office" but unfortunately neither of our 2 bedroom penthouses came with a reserved parking spot so we parked illegally all week.
#5 - the jacuzzi on the "penthouse" is cold not hot, and ours was only half full when we arrived.
Basically Alegranza is a low end choice with a very high-end price tag (depending on when you go). The views are good because the building is perched atop Missiones hill, however if you pay top dollar you will be infuriated. I can confirm the place is not safe for young children so I would be very careful booking if you have them.
The people in the office are nice and the staff work hard but basically you are likely better off elsewhere.
Views are just amazing. A lot to do within walking distance you can find bars restaurants and places to go shopping. Staff very attentive. Love the place! Highly recommended if you are coming to San Jose del Cabo.
