We had a wonderful stay! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We felt at home. Will definitely come back. We had our breakfast delivered to our room every morning with fresh fruit, toast, sweet breads and coffee. Location is perfect! It is right in the middle of all the activities and right there from 5th Ave. The rooms are soundproof and comfortable. Enjoyed my mornings at the beach watching all the activities with the fishermen. I highly recommend it. Thanks to all the staff, you made our stay so worthwhile!

Had a great stay at Playa Palms Beach Hotel. Breakfast served and delivered every morning to your room and you can choose what time you want it delivered. Also front dest clerk (ACOLLANY) was very friendly and helped anyway she could. The security was very friendly as well.

Cute little place, well kept, right on the ocean. My only complaint is the stinky seaweed that washes up on the beach . Cant swim and the smell is nauseating. Not their fault, the staff is great.

Beautiful well maintained beach front hotel. Highly recommended. Great for couples get away. They are working on repairing the beach erosion. Not much they can do about the sargassum seaweed washing up on the beach. Somedays better than others.

Pretty disappointed with this hotel. The beach is absolutely not like the picture, impossible to swim or relax. There is Absolutely no privacy what so ever, the balconies and simply one next to the other. The breakfast served are really not pleasant and does not deserve 4 stars ! The price is obviously way to high for the prestation since the kindness of the staff doesn't do everything. Would not recommend it.

The staff was nice. The view of the ocean was great. However, the hotel had a sewage smell in the public area and at the beach the whole time we were there so we didn't enjoy it much. Also, we weren't able to control the AC setting so the room was warmer than we liked.

Wow! This place is a hidden gem in playa! Our rooms were clean and we'll maintained. The hotel is on the beach and close to all the restaurants and shops. The best part is Carlos at the concierge! He made playa del Carmen go from a busy tourist trap to a place we would love to return. He gave us the best advcie on what to eat and what to do. We did a private fishing trip for a very reasonable price and got 15 fish both big and small! He then took it the extra mile and found someone in town to cook some of the fish as a fillet, ceviche and fried fish fingers. I hope we will return to playa one day and get to stay here :)

Nice rooms, showing their age. Small, but nice pool. Beach sucked; a line of small boats block access; and a nasty bottom. Very good access to shopping, restaurants and bars. Very limited parking. Staff was helpful and friendly. A deal considering prices in the vicinity. If you want to party nearby, this may be the place for you.

Great views. Great prices. Very easy to find and has super easy beach access. Bee y happy with our 4 day stay here. This place also has it's own private parking area with an attendant to watch the cars.

The best hotel we stayed at in Mexico. Beach front room on the first floor with a private terrace and hammock. I loved lying in bed listening to the waves and the breakfast served in our terrace in the morning.

A great service and a nice bedrooms also super clean . The only problem is the beach because there is a lot of boats docking on it and it was impossible to swim but there is nothing wrong with the hotel I seriously loved it

Nice clean rooms, ocean views, next to beach. Everyone was very polite and helpful. Very close to la 5th peatonal Street with many restaurants and shops.

Not all their rooms have views.. even though you pay for "ocean view" room. The breakfast at the balcony is good. The location of the hotel is good. However, we found issues with mosquitos in the room.. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Great location. No parking so we had to park in a side street however valets at hotels are telling us to be careful and then asking for money to "keep an eye on the car" . Certainly a scam and made us on edge for parking there. Continental breakfast was included which was nice.
