kids pool is nice, but the hours are not very kid friendly. they advertise 3 restaurants, but only actually have 1 restaurant for people over 12. 1 buffet with 3 meals a day and about 2 hrs closed between meals, and 1 snack bar open from noon to 6pm. the rooms are nice, and the people are very friendly. has direct beach access with great sand. the hotels are currently under construction which makes getting around not very easy. but the shopping mall and aquarium is across the street which is a nice bonus.

Got a good deal probably because of the construction. Main draw for use besides price was the kids section for our 4 and 6 year old. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Only down side was the buffet and one restaurant which we couldn't go to with our kids which meant we had to eat at the buffet which got old. Wish they had a kids time at the restaurant to give adults a break on their own.

Very nice place to enjoy family trip.
Various and delicious foods were so good to me and pool side drink was nice too.
My kids like outdoor pool and wild animals(lizards...) walking around there.
There is clean sand beach nearby the hotel.

Although under construction, I still give it a five star due to the great customer service my wife and I received. From checking in and getting settled in to hanging out by the beach with drinks! The food was delicious and we loved that the meals were different every day. I stayed in other hotels and this one had the most options and best service. Great experience and price.

Small bathroom. No room refrigerator. No bedside electrical outlets. Noisy restaurant. Food was good though. Nice gym. Friendly service. Clean beach with beach showers.

Great Hotel, nice amenities and amazing access to the beach. Front desk employees are not the friendliest. Other employees around the hotel were more welcoming in my experience.

The location is good, but everything else regarding tour services and hotel management of the hotel is poorly established and not English speaking when it comes to issues or sorting of complaints.

Tour service deliberately find the most expensive trips and solutions, for non-mexicans. If you like that people are going for your money only this is the place to go...

Best hotel service I have ever experienced. The staff alone makes me want to come back! Not to mention the beautiful hotel, scenery, pool area, beach etc. Buffets were amazing. All around great experience. The only SLIGHT complaint is that the beds weren’t the most comfortable. Otherwise 10/10 and I’m definitely coming back!

Their public pool has a in-pool bar where you can order beverages from soft drinks to alcohol. Its very clean and they have many activities throughout the week like Beach Volleyball, pool Volleyball, pool parties, Karaoke nights, and more. They're food is average and bartenders are very friendly. Staff members are VERY lively and seem like they enjoy doing activities with you.

This is the place you go when you either have ten kids or you're 90. Inexpensive, hard beds, bland food, no drink service away from the bar and group activities like stretching in the pool for old people. Still great for a beach vacation. People are nice and the drinks aren't bad. The A/C works. The view, if you get one is nice.

Always a great place to come. All-inclusive with plenty of variety at the buffet and the bar. Also since January it offers a new kids zone 3-13 with water slides and kids service from 9-6pm. Also feature an special adult zone (no kids allowed with a bar, pool and sea view) and a family pool zone with and in-pool bar, snack bar pools and kids pool. It also has an old Mayan temple and a special dinner restaurant from older than 12 were you have to dress formal. Excellent service from employees.

Hola! I highly recommend The Park Royal Cancun. I had a fabulous time. The hotel was top rate, food was delicious, very clean and great entertainment team. The guys from the entertainment team were so warm and hard working. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and always cheerful and up beat encouraging a great atmosphere around the place. Special thanks to Benji from the entertainment team, such a warm, sincere guy. He arranged for our party to be taken care off when we went out and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We had an amazing time thanks to him. We danced all night and had tequila Mexican style ;) it was fun! Loved every moment. We made some great memories and will be back again. Benji you're a star! ⭐️ Many thanks to the rest of the very hard working team!

    Can't wait to come back!

    Lots of Love ❤️ CCLONDON!!

The hotel is outdated completely, I've stayed in this line of hotels many times and this specific one looks like the 80's they haven't changed a thing, doesn't look at all like the pictures . There are broken blinds in the rooms, you can hear every minimum movement someone on the floor above you does. Besides the awful design and poor cleaning . The staff is also outdated they are pretty rude, lacks basic information services , they are not prepared for international travelers , fee of the staff actually speak English non speak Portuguese or other languages thank god i speak Spanish if not would have been torture. The food is fine , plane and basic really I recommend having reservations elsewhere.

Some of the guest are not civil with each other and the hotel lets whomever do as they please and don't interfere e.g. A guest had speakers on the pool area for adults playing loud music and only what he wanted , besides the music from the pool itself, then some costumers complained and others put their speakers and started a battle of music with each other bothering everyone there and the management just said they are costumers can't tell them anything.

Just saying it needs to up their game the grand royale also in cancun is magnific but seriously I wouldn't say it's a 4 star hotel more like a 3 star with rude service and poor management.

stood here for my vacation this year , 7 days total with 3 people .. the all inclusive drinks are good their just weak your better off taking shots lol and the food was alright not much complaints there only for dinner its always a different theme which is great because its not always the same food but they dont really follow the themes , the bedroom that i reserved was not the bedroom i recieved and when i spoke to the reservations lady here at the hotel she said "theres nothing that can be done" and she basically said "thats what happen when you book thru Expedia" what is the purpose of reserving a great room when once you get here your gonna get something else ?? overall my experience here was alright regardless of the room issue (we were barely in the room anyway) , the people were nice and the ambience was great , this is the place to go for a vacation with kids since they have the kids pools.

PS .. the people that work here keep trying to hustle you into their membership which is absolutely annoying i am here to vacation not to negotiate anything with anyone , it says certain things are included with your all inclusive like the gym or spa but its not you have to pay extra for those or become a member , the mall is the same mall you would find in USA everything here is too americanized , oh and theyre constantly fixing things and making noises thru all times of the day and night

We had a nice stay, should have made an effort to get the nicest room, since they have hot tubs. Get reservations for the nicer Italian restaurant each night if you want a quality dinner. The staff are nice. The place is a good value.

Unfortunately, we will never come here again. The service is nice but the resort lacks amenities and looks nothing like the pictures. When you book through travel agency there is no information or detail with regards to one of the two restaurants requiring long pants. We have been coming to Cancun for 12 years and stayed in many resorts, long pants never required or packed. Only nice clothes. So now we are down to ONE restaurant, buffet where food is questionable. Could we buy pants, sure I guess; but for the amount of money charged for All Inclusive already, we would rather go to a better restaurant. BOTTOM LINE FIND ANOTHER RESORT EVEN IF A FEW $ EXTRA

My friend and I stayed in the Ambassador room for 4 nights. It had two full size beds and a pull out bed in the main living area. The bed pulls out from the closet which was pretty cool. They said in the description the room fits 6 and it does if it were 2 people to a bed. We were on the first floor so the view was just of the greenery but we didn't stay in our rooms that much. The people were very kind and very helpful. The beach was obviously great and the concierge and staff booking excursions were a great help! Special thank you to Johnny (concierge.) He was so nice and informational. Gave us accurate costs for Taxi's and bus fare. The only thing my friend and I were bummed out about were the activities at the hotel. We saw on the activity list that there were dance lessons and that didn't happen. Karaoke was supposed to be at a specific time and that didn't happen on time and lasted for only about an hour. If they had been consistent with hotel activities, would've been great. The buffet was good in my opinion, not great. But in terms of all inclusive, we were fed well and the bartenders made good drinks. All in all, great staff. Activities and food should've matched the staff service.
