Amazing place!! Stunning view, gorgeous pool and a lot of privacy! Apartments are just excellent!!!

There are some pluses and minuses experienced during our stay here, we saw a cockroach on our first day here, the cleaning ladies took the lady of our roll of toilet paper while cleaning the bathroom. A.C. works very well condensation builds up quickly inside and outside the unit because of this. Unit is very spacious in common areas. Ants are a bit of a problem during our stay, tiny ants, but still very present. The jaccuzi was warm but not hot, and having a private pool was fun for wading in and sunbathing. The resort was nearly empty during our stay, which is a plus, but our first two nights we had loud neighbors, partying, smoking and drinking until about 2 AM. The walls are very solid so going inside blocked out the noise. The pool is large and well maintained and the ocean is a short walk away and the water is very warm and nice. Lots of seaweed covers the beach in a large pile, while I understand this is true all up and down the playa when we walked next door to the royal haciendas they had it managed with tractors, while royal coral / mareazul seems to have two workers with pitchfork and a wheelbarrow. The garden is lovely and we were able to see many different bits of wildlife ( cats / coatamundi / lizards / iguanas / birds) the front desk lady (Vanessa) was very helpful, arranged taxis for us and answered our questions promptly via whatsapp. This resort would easily be a 4 star with a little effort and upkeep. I have read reviews that say they are under new management so I hope they will get these few (and i admit 1st world annoyances) under control and this will be a destination I would gladly book again.

High end apartment buildings, great pools and beautiful beach. Some noise from the 'beach club' during weekend nights, which can be annoying
