  Awful place to stay! Never come here! This is the place of the Israel people, they behave like animals and nobody cares. The hotel needs maintenance. Could be ok only for the night parties.

  Nice place near the beach, one block from Avenida Quinta and from 12th street nightlife. Can be very loud because of the proximity to Playa's nightclub scene. Overall, it's a very convenient and central location within walking distance to all local attractions.

  Excellent stay at el Koox. It's located in the heart of the city but our room was still really quiet. We really enjoyed the staff and wanted to thank them for all the good advice they gave us for our trip.

  Excellent if you only want a room. Other reviews carry lots of weight
  . See photos of pool prior to repair.. can someone update when the repair starts and or is complete.

  El hotel no es lo que esperábamos, esta muy sucio y descuidado, nos dieron una habitación y el baño tenía papeles sucios y en la parte de la regadera muy sucio. Fui a la recepción y les dige de la limpieza y si, muy amablemente nos cambiaron a otra habitación pero casi igual de sucia , las sabanas que nos toco tenía una mancha roja como de sangre era barniz pero se veía bastante desagradable las toallas bien percudidas . Y las cobijas con mal olor. Espero que estos comentarios les ayuden a mejorar ese lugar para hacer una estancia de hotel más placentera.

  Didn't liked anything about this place.
  The service sucks. The staff is lazy, they never had clean towels for the beach.
  The place is nothing like the pictures. Everything is old or incomplete. The pool is extremely small and dirty. The decoration is terrible.
  I don't know why it's rated as a 4 star hotel when it deserves none.
