Elegant gourmet restaurant, ideally for a romantic dinner. The food is out of ordinary (in the good meaning) and studied. I recommend to try their gourmet menu where you can taste a bit of every specialty. Prices are in the mid range (a little higher than the Cozumel average). Recommended.

Delicious food in a most beautiful atmosphere. Dining under a canopy of trees after dark creates a romantic ambiance. Server Daniel H sets the bar high for good, personable service. Any restaurant would be lucky to have staff half as good, and as good looking! If you are looking for a nice, dress a little nicer kind of place, a visit here should not be missed.

Such an amazing place. The restaurant itself is an outside area with a beautiful garden and very relaxed. It's a big space but they don't have many tables so the people feels at ease. The Brazilian guy playing and singing was incredible, singing very relaxed songs and not loud at all so you can have a conversation without screaming.
The food is excellent and very quick service and the staff are brilliant. I would give more than 5* if I could

This is our second year eating at Kondesa restaurant in Cozumel. The menu has a lot of fresh fish and shrimp prepared in new ways that are delicious and unique. There are three different types of guacamole and it is hard to pick a favorite since they are all so good. The food is Mexican but modern, and better than most meals I have had in the U.S. The outdoor patio is like being in a rain forest with Christmas lights. We ate there twice this vacation, and loved every meal. It is not expensive. I would recommend Kondesa to everyone.

We had the kondesa experience, the food is very tasty and the service is really great, some points to be improved: the meat was not as we ordered (ordered medium rare, it was well done) and the chocolate sauce that comes with the churros is not on the same level as the order dishes, also 2 small churros is too little, could have been 4. It's also a little pricey.
Details apart I recommend the experience.

Awesome cuisine. Right off the tourists path, a great find for unique eats. Had the octopus pasta dish, and went back the next night to do it again. A must stop if in Cozumel!

This restaurant was recommended by our rental agency in Cozumel and we went twice during our stay. The service is amazing and the terrace in the back is just magical! We were there in August and didn't see a lot of mosquitos, no need for bugspray. But no worries, they offer complementary Off if needed : ) The food was great (the steak was so good!) and portions are generous -our kids shared an appetizer and a main and were stuffed. The corn cake for desert is worth leaving room for (the flan was the one thing no one really enjoyed).

Fabulous ambiance!!! Feels like you are eating in the jungle, a fancy jungle with nice lighting. The food was amazing, fish and guacamole were so tasty and I don't eat fish often. A must for nice dinner out in Cozumel

We ate here on our last night in Cozumel and it was the perfect finish. The atmosphere of the place is rather magical, sitting outside in the cool, night air with lanterns and string lights strung through the trees above and Dexter the restaurant cat wandering from table to table. I love it.

The staff, on our visit, which wasn't crowded at all were extremely attentive. They were often checking on us, but never pestered us.

The catch of the day, Tuna, was very fresh and good; but the pesto pasta dish my boyfriend got was much better- in my opinion, it had so much flavor so my advice would be if something less "island-y" appeals more to go with that over getting the fish just because, that's what I wish I had done.

This place is a bit more expensive, it's definitely a place for a dinner out- not one of the place that will be cheap, but I think its worth it.

I can't believe how amazingly cool this restaurant is. At first, it was an interesting place to find, but all of the sudden we came across it and WOW. The food is AMAZING. The setting is AMAZING and extremely romantic. There were only about 6 people there when we went (Sunday night) at a kitty named Dexter who looks like Garfield. If you're looking for some real delicious island food, look not further. You've gotta hit this place up.
