Playa Corona is the best kept secret in Cozumel. Everyone says to stay away and try other spots, and I think it's because noone wants others to get in on the awesomeness. Great food, great service, stunning reef. A+

Amenities could definitely use a bit of an upgrade, but the service and food was good.
Snorkeling doesn't look like much, and then you swim a little more and have great surprises! Ran into butterfly fish, angel fish, a scorpion fish, a barracuda and a SPOTTED EAGLE RAY!!!

Nice and calm place. Not too crowded which is the norm in Cozumel. The staff is a bit intense about tips, but still very nice to customers.

Our family has enjoyed Corona Beach aka Paya Corona in Cozumel for twenty years. We began enjoying Corona when we stayed in Cozumel for a week several years ago. Now, we just take a taxi from the cruise ship port to it. I gave it 4 stars, as the changing area/showers are very primitive. The food, services, and snorkeling are great. The taxi cab drivers will try to tell you it doesn't exist anymore, as Paya Corona does not pay the Taxi Cab drivers like some other day resorts.

This is a great place to snorkel and hang out. The staff is great. You can bring your own snorkel gear but be sure to please get some drinks or food. Everything was delicious. We prefer this place over the big noisy beach clubs. Nice quiet atmosphere.

Super friendly folks. If you have your own snorkel gear, use their facilities but buy something to eat or drink! It's how they operate free to snorkelers. Also, be aware the the reef around Cozumel is a sanctuary/national park! DO NOT WALK ON THE CORAL! Use designated walkways to enter the water.

I have been to Playa Corona three years in a row. By far this is the best place to relax and spend the day. Amazing snorkeling and very good drinks. Elkhorn coral ! Brain corral everywhere. Clear water and easy access. I will definitely be here every visit. Hammocks, shade, drinks and Caribbean feel. Can't wait to return. Neal

Total ripoff. Server miscalculated bill by $15 USD and waiter added in 20% tip after I said 10%. Not worth $70 USD for fajitas and a few beers. Cozumel has TONS of great beaches. There is absolutely no reason to visit this place.

Great spot down the coast of Cozumel. If you have your own snorkel gear, bring it! The sea life is great around some of the reefs sprinkled about. Grab a table which is fine if you're ordering a beer (who wouldn't?) and the food is quite good. Worth a trip to this quiet spot away from the bustle of the port.
