This was for our anniversary dinner and words can not describe how beautiful the location was. The food was great and the service was even better. But the prices were not over the top at all ($100 usd for two without alcohol). Jan the manager greeted us right off the hop and our server Emilio made sure of the high quality service through out the night. All you have to do is make sure to come to Hotel Amarte front desk as there are three hotels in the same location.

First of all, food is amazing. Drinks are great. Beer and wine selection is outstanding. Location, well, what can I say? You will be eating at the most beautiful beach of the world. The view is amazing. Finally, if you want to have an amazing and unforgettable breakfast, lunch or dinner, you defenetly have to come here.

Enchanting, Mesmerizing,Romantic
One has to use all these words to describe the beauty of this Maroma gem. Breathtaking design of the restaurant with breathtaking views - what else could one ask for.
The sound of waves, sounds more like romantic music.
This is the feeling you get when you enter Pavo Real by the Sea.
When you start tasting the food and the extra care you get, it starts getting even better.
Jan, the manager (passionate European food expert) with his ideas and the new menu, has just made this place not only the gem that it always was, but a world class restaurant. I just wish, Michelin food critics will stop here one day.
The design of the served plate, with chef's amazing food and edible flowers, makes you feel very very special.
Excellent service, completes this ordeal that everyone should enjoy while in Maroma.

From the moment you arive and see the beautifully designed jungle landscape and gorgeous boutique hotel Kin Sol Soleil, you feel like you have entered a different dimension. Then, the entrance to "Pavo Real by the Sea" simply takes your breath away. Elegantly designed interior and the floor, then the carefully designed lighting arround a beautiful round pool, lounge area and finally white sandy beach with full moon reflecting on the ocean..
Ughhh, for a moment I thought i was still there, -😂 nope I'm in ugly rainy New Jersey.
Lets go back to paradise
Excellent French food, very good list of Artesan beers and pretty good wine list makes this place an unforgettable little paradise. If you are like me, and tried everything in the menu, then you can simply ask the Chef a day in advance for whatever you can think of. I thought of , super fresh whole fish for two, and bannggg it was served the next day.
Jan, the manager of both Kin Sol Soleil boutique hotel and Pavo Real by the Sea is a very nice, funny and friendly person. Coming from Belgium he brought a beautiful and elegant European touch to already gorgeous piece of paradise.
Do yourself a favor, go and treat yourself for an evening while in Cancun area, you will want to go back year after year.
Life is short, enjoy while you can!!!

It's nice. It's expensive. And it isn't the real Mexico. So, if you want the first two go. You won't be disappointed. Otherwise, find a real Mexican place.

This restaurant is a must visit if you are in the area. We stayed at the Secrets Maroma just down the beach and decided to eat here for dinner one night. The food was by far the best we had during our entire trip. We had a reservation for 4 people, and we were the only 4 people in the entire restaurant for dinner. My guess is that because this is part of a boutique hotel not many people know about it, and those individuals staying in the hotel have food delivered to their rooms. The food was wonderful, and the service was top notch. Our server (Johnny) was more than happy to give us a history lesson on Tequila after dinner. All in all this is a must try restaurant, even if you are staying at one of the all-inclusive resorts nearby, this is worth the additional cost.

Great food, great service and an amazing view. They treated us like royalty. My wife and I went there for dinner and will be returning as guests at the hotel in the future. This place is a must go for a nice romantic dinner away from the hustle and bustle of Playa Del Carmen or Cancun.

We stayed at Kin Sol Soleil hotel, attached to the restaurant. The restaurant wait staff and Manager were extremely accommodating and the service was excellent. We ate almost every breakfast and dinner here and always had a great experience. Added bonus, the view of playa Maroma over the small plunge pool from your table makes it an experience to remember.

Is top notch!! Best meal I have ever had bar none!! You need to try this place.. You will not be disappointed. Located in the middle of Belmond Maroma..
