Very nice place, open about 7:30 am, witch will be one of the few places open early in playa. Good menu, generous portions. I was there at lunch, was busy, but was worth the wait ting time and money. Bread and pastry mad in house and fresh.

It was really terrific to enjoy some food with a french feel in Mexico. Beautiful, fresh pastries, and pressed juice, as well as some great fresh bread and cheese for a nice sandwich! I’m thrilled about our brunch here. We left the Mayakoba just to go here, and it was absolutely worth the short trip. Reasonable pricing, if not a little high, but what do you expect in an area as touristy? Still a great experience :)

The almond croissant is excellent. Super nice spot for breakfast and light lunch. The food is great quality, and the prices are good for 5th Avenue. Highly recommend!

Nice place for breakfast. Food is delightful. Many choices for breakfast including omelettes, bagels, and mucho more. Prices range from 70mxn to 150mxn per plate. Also great place if you want to have a cafe and people watch at the main strip of playa.

Oh Chez Céline, great great Chez Céline. This is one of my favorite places to go have breakfast with friends and family because it's just so tasty and delightful!! I recommend the combo "Campesino" that basically is a ham and cheese omelette with a baguette, orange juice and a hot beverage. There's some other days that I'm just craving for a Croque-Monsier because they are the bomb!! But most of the time I go for a chocolate Almond croissant or a gourmandise. The waiters are always friendly and your food doesn't take that long, the quality of this place is just great.

I was so surprised to stumble upon such a quaint french bistro in Mexico. I've been to Nice and to Paris and I will have to say this place does give them a run for their money. We joked that we couldn't remember if were were in Mexico or dining in the outskirts of Paris. Their breakfast was great. I enjoy their crepes and croissants. I loved the fusion of Parisian food with a Mexican flair. We enjoyed French toast with Mayan Honey and crepes alongside fresh Mexican jam. If you are in the area I would make sure to come early or around 2:00 when it slows down. Perfect for breakfast or when you need a quick coffee pick-me-up.

Great place!
I had two dishes because it was so delicious.
The staff was very friendly, spoke English and wasn't offended when I was trying to speak a little Spanish.
The atmosphere is very chill, not rushed at all, although you get your food fast.

Nice place and good food but bad service: our waiter misunderstood an order, instead of a salty pancake wrote down full breakfast, so he brought orange juice and bread. When he later brought the main dish we notice the mistake. would you believe he took the juice away and, when we told him we would like to keep the bread, he later charged for it?

Ordered the Countryside Breakfast, which included a ham and tomato omelette, country-style potatoes, a half baguette, hot chocolate and orange. Everything was delicious and real: real butter, homemade marmalade, and rich hot chocolate. The service was fast and courteous. Highly recommended!

I will not call it pure french.but it fresh baked and taste is relly good my family bought Pasterys and fresh bread when we were visting mexico ever couple from days to stock up.one of the best around.

Honestly: Fresh musli (fruits, granola, yoghurt), two pieces of whole grain bread with butter and honey, a fresh orange juice and a hot drink for alltogether 5€ - in the middle of touristy 5th Avenue - that is outstanding and worth to wait for a free table! I wouldn't agree that the food itself is outstanding (at least some more butter and jam and a slightly bigger piece of baguette would be desirable) - but it tastes great and even for Mexico a very smart deal. I totally recommend to everyone going there!

Hands down the best place in Mexico. The quality of the food is outstanding, the dishes are interesting and beautiful. The atmosphere has a very refreshing European touch to it which is a very needed escape from the constant touristic 5th avenue busyness.

We visited Chez Céline today for the second time this week, and I recommend them for a delicious breakfast, pastries and food in general. It is by far one of the best restaurants in the area and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious, the bathroom is clean, and they ask all customers to write their feedback when they give the bill (very progressive). I suggest you avoid rush hour times and arrive earlier if you don't want to wait in line.
