Decent Resort. Very quiet lots of older people 50+ very great location though. Lots of great restaurants close by $7usd cab ride almost anywhere in town. The buffet by building 5 isnt very good. Restaurant by the beach is by far the best food here. Take a trip to Los Cabos by bus, you wont regret it. Amazing overall experience.

My children had a great time here! The food was good, fresh, and didn't get tirsome like some all you can eat places. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The only thing that annoyed me, from a parents perspective, was the 'kids club'. It was staffed by a young woman who spent her entire time in her phone whilst sitting behind her counter. She didn't interact with any kid, nor did would she have noticed if a child decided to escape. Fix that nonsense by hiring someone who has a care and a modicum of English communication skills, and that's would be great.

Food was very bland pasta chicken basic salad, rooms is very clean, now if you wanted to relax by the pool side you.must wake up at 6 AM to put a towel down to claim your seat, once the seats are taken then your out of luck, Kids club, well like they advertise, there's not one, the lady quit the same day we arrived and and no one replaced her, now your bar tenders are excellent also the waiting staff at the only restaurant on the place was good. We got tired of eating the same thing so we ended up going out for street food, over all experience was ok not in a rush to get back..

Love love love! Stayed here twice now. Loved the second floor balcony rooms. Not a fan of the third floor balcony as you have to stand to enjoy the view. Buffet meals always served a variety of choices. Pools are perfect in July with fun activities. Pools were too cold in December. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Looking forward to a return vist!

One of the original hotels in town, this establishment can show its age. Not in anything like patchy carpets (there's no such thing as a bad carpet). It's just an older model of the all-inclusive deal. Food can taste a little mass-produced, which is what it is!
Overall this is a good place. Reception is very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are of decent size, and well cleaned. There are bars scattered around the ground, as are swimming pools.
Drop off from the airport is quick, due to position. There are shops and eateries within a reasonable stroll.

Breathtakingly beautiful! I would recommend a beach view. Sunrise/set is beyond words
The staff are so amazing, I wasn’t the only one that made lifelong friends. Food never disappoints and no one trying to sell anything on the beach. Not too far from downtown if you want to party, but far enough to have lots of quiet.
    Walking distance from shopping/grocery/bars
    IN LOVE!

Nice location close to the estuary, big property. Really liked the food at the a la carte restaurant. Not too busy in early November. Rooms were clean and as good as expected, nice second floor terrace with loungers and chairs.

Clean, spacious room. Gracious and helpful staff. Three different pools - including a quiet / adult one. Good food selection. Very good value for the money.

Check in was fast and efficient. That was the only good part about this resort. We left this past friday. First of all, I don't expect an all inclusive to be fine dining. This food was horribleit all came out of boxesnever a decent salad selection, no sign of Mexican food.except frozen, deep fried tortillas. The dining room was at least 80 degrees.the outdoor diningflies all over the food. DisgustingThe only half way decent meal was breakfast.it guess you can't screw up eggs or cereal. Both coffee makers were broken. We ate out pretty much every meal.
The waiters and waitresses were wonderfulfor what they had to work with.I had sympathy for them. They had to know the food was unappealing.people just pushed it around their plates. No happy diners. The amount of waste has to be huge..The stuff is awfulpeople throwing out plates of food.
Room was ok. Bed was the best thing there. sad, but true. We will never returnthis place is a hole.

    Nice hotel with great staff.

The hotel was a $30 cab ride from most of the activities. We ended up renting a VW for just $30 per day. This was well worth the expense.

I enjoyed my stay at the resort. It's very clean and very well maintained for an older resort. The room I was in was not fancy, but it was clean. The room did not have a fridge or microwave, it did however have a coffee maker and ampule supply of coffee, tea and condiments. For an all inclusive the food was good, breakfast was always the best. They have several pools including an adult only pool which I didn't find out about until my last day at the resort. They did have a play place for kids, but not much else for them to do. They resort listed activities on a board near the main pool. They had things like yoga, pool games, karaoke and things of that nature. From what I could tell though not many people participated in any of the activities. They had a few outdoor buffet dinners and shows, but to be honest they were entertaining in a lame sort of way. I spent my days pool side just people watching and reading. I stayed for 5 days, if I had it to do over again I would have made my stay at the Holiday Inn resort a weekend get away. After the 3rd day it just kinda got old for me.

Pros: The staff was extremely nice, the resort was very clean, the resort was walking distance from downtown San Jose, close to the beach and ocean but off limits for swim.

Cons: The food was good, but I wish there was more variety of food in the buffet and the one hotel restaurant. I feel like with only two options of food, one restaurant and one buffet there should be more choices. Like swap out the menu daily. I also feel like you should be able to order a bottle of water while eating, it should not only be available by room service in your room. I would have also liked to evening activities and night life for adults. I know this is a "family" resort but I am sure parents and other adults staying in the resort would like to go somewhere where the kids are not allowed, that also had extended hours.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The facilities are nice and peaceful. Isn't overcrowded at all so you are able to enjoy yourself. 3 pools one for activities, one for families and one adult only (listed in order of loudest to quietest). Ocean was off limits because of the tide but still a very beautiful.

The holidays inn in Los Cabos had great food, friendly staff and activities on the resorts. Food was buffet style along with a restaurant, the food and drinks were all great. The only bad things I can say is the wifi was bad possible due to the room location none the less the signal went in and out. Also the beach only nice to plane in the sand (volleyball, soccer ECT) as the currents were to strong. You can't actually hear the water crashing from you hotel room. All in all I would still recommend this girl to a friend.

This place is absolutely horrible!!! It's a 2 star at best. The food is discussing. We eat everything but u never knew what u were eating, the best thing I had to eat was McDonald's. Sad but true. Our bed has 2 broken legs. They say there's a hot tub under the amenities but it doesn't exist. I'm so chocked about having to stay in this dump. And we had my husbands pants stolen from our room. I'm still here but can't wait to get home. We aren't the only ones who are complaining

Great view of the ocean from my room. The building itself looked beautiful from the outside, but inside it definitely looked like they rushed the construction. The buffet food wasn't very flavorful. It's clean and safe though, so if you're just looking for a cheap place to sleep this is a good option. Don't book here if you're looking for a luxury experience.

We had a very good time! This was our second trip to Cabo and second time here at the Holiday Inn Resort. They have improved on the food since we were here 3 years ago and done a few updates on the resort. My husband has back issues, so his only complaint was that the bed was too soft. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Our waiter, Manny, that we had at the beach restaurant was the best!! One of the guys in our group brought a guitar and was playing, Manny sang La Bamba and danced with us! Very laid back atmosphere. Nice beach to just sit and watch the waves crash in, or hang out at the pool and enjoy the activities. And short walk to town to shop. Had a blast and will be back!!

I absolutely loved this place. The staff were friendly in every single situation. I mean, every single time a staff member was in your presence they were saying hello! We only spent time at the activities pool, which was surprising because I thought I'd loathe that sort of thing but it was hilarious! Can't ever go wrong with swim up bars in the pools, for sure. The views of the beach were outstanding. You cannot access the water on the beach due to the year round ridiculous riptide but it was okay, the pool was enough for me. Unlimited alcoholic beverages with the all inclusive package and they keep em coming! It was a great experience and we'd come back every summer if we could!
