If you're headed to Los Cabos, make the trip a day or two after tropical storm Irene. We got so lucky!! Aside from no wifi (oh no! Had to ignore emails for a few days) the resort was in full swing, aside being practically empty. We pretty much had the restaurants and bars to ourselves, with the most amazing post-storm weather ever! Couldn't swim in the ocean but we romantically walked along the beach where baby turtles were hatching and beautiful driftwood decorated our shoreline.
If no tropical storm happens to occur before your vacation, you can still look forward to amazing service, great food, and strong drinks. Places like this resort are what passport stamps are born for.response / report this review -

Beautiful resort, pools, everything was clean and the room was comfortable but the food.. my lord .. it was ALL terrible ! And watch out for the cheesecake at the grill ! I literally had to take it out of my mouth and put it into my napkin and my boyfriend spit it out too. There was also a jackhammer going off Friday and Saturday morning which was not very peaceful laying out by the pool . I’m super disappointed in the food. It was honestly thee worst food I’ve ever had in my life. Huge letdown because we were looking forward to this vacation and I couldn’t wait to get back to the airport to get away from the nasty food. Also it would be nice if some of the staff spoke English and brought you what you ordered. If you order a lemonade you will get a sprite and NONE of the food is food you will be familiar with. It’s all disgusting. Thankyou Krystal Grand!

Nice, up to date resort with two pools. Service was good and no issues with the food! Great white sandy beach with the possibility of renting surfing equipment just a 10 minute walk from the resort. Make sure to be careful and watch your drinks if you venture off resort and go into town (aka senior frogs).

Staff is very nice and accommodating, and the facilities are nice. The room we had was just okay and the bathroom seriously needed renovation. We didn’t have a shower curtain so everything always got wet when we showered. The buffet was good but the restaurants were surprisingly not good.on the plus side, you have no incentive to overeat and gain vacation weight! It’s perfectly fine but nothing amazing.

Visited this resort with myself and two other girlfriends and we cannot stop praising the service we received at Krystal Grand. Stayed at this resort in early January - we were immediately greeted by guest services, staff recommended great areas to explore and always made sure we were greeted with a smile. Despite being alongside the highway - the resort is gorgeous. Spacious, clean, and good atmosphere. There was always relaxing music playing in the morning when we wake up - it was wonderful. The rooms were always well kept, provided us extra towels and creative arrangements. The food was delicious, always replenished regularly and had nightly features of different cuisines. We cannot thank the staff enough for their friendly service - special mention to Jose(s) and Monica that worked along the poolside who provided fun activities and entertainment for guests. Victor ,who arranged a wonderful Friday night for us. Alejandro, who provided a great show on the teppanyaki grill. Glad we made friends during our stay as well!
I would definitely come back and visit - highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a great time!response / report this review -

Great experience, the food was great, service was amazing by poolside server Gregorio. He really lightens the mood for the day! Ramon was our first server at the martini bar and always started conversation and let us know the best things to do in town. Felt like a big family welcoming us into their home. Activities hosted by Edwin and Monica was energetic and lots of fun. The resort cleared up any miscommunication between staff immediately and were provided compensation for our mix up. i highly recommend this resort to families, couples looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful views.

I am a Bel Air member and Krystal Grand is my home resort. While the staff was friendly, Yoga excellent as well as Aquasize directed by Monica our room was horrible. I’m supposed to have a one bedroom, it took two days to get through to Ester at Bel Air and we were showed a “better room” which had no view, no refrigerator, and two beds in a much smaller room. I didn’t consider that better and stayed in my one room with a kitchen. No knives, dish rags, soap and it took two days and complaints to get the one garbage can emptied! Room service and rooms here were horrible, not worth what my contract says I should get! Never again.

Our time here started off on a bad note but by the 2nd day all was well. The staff are super friendly and try too help you always. The room was very clean and nice. The views are spectacular!!! I will visit again!! The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they are still doing construction and the room we were given it was right outside of our door plus you could also hear the cars driving by on the highway at night.

When you place room tag for cleaning services the wind blows them off.. my baby was woken up for the morning nap 4 out of 7 times. No hard feelings, just a tip to stuff to solve that issue. Food is good, clean place, great beach. I never heard more saxophone in my life for ambient music.
Internet was off for three days, good to unplug not good if you run a business and some might say it happens but then cable TV got blury for days.. whole place is still under construction.
They work hard to improve, whole staff is really friendly.response / report this review -

Stayed here with my family a few years ago. Beautiful beach view, descent on side restaurants, and a somewhat secluded beach (Which was a positive for me). There were plenty of crazy busy beaches everywhere but this one was a good place to relax.
Our room had a kitchen and allowed us to cook meals for a change of pace. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again in the future.response / report this review -

It has good accommodations for the price. Food was ok. Nice views of the ocean. Tides were too strong to actually swim but you could go in. Friendly staff and always trying to please. The pools were nice and the grounds and rooms were clean. If you are looking for relaxation this is the place. Not much happens on this side of town. Overall decent place to stay

As of July 2017, this place is still being built. It gets hectic with kids here, but still can find a quiet spot to relax. We played in the warm ocean waves by the shore, but swimming out is not recommended because waves are too big. Although temperatures stay between 80 and 90, swimming pools are always warm. Sometimes too warm for my comfort. Restaurants have OK food, but they seemed understaffed. I would rate it 4 stars, but quiet a few times waiters didn't even bring us water. Sometimes they were busy running around serving others, and sometimes just standing around, not paying attention to their guests. I suppose a new place needs time for training and developing its routine. Not a place for couples, but still a perfect place for families.

Beautiful resort, rooms were beautiful, staff very helpful and friendly. Service was great at the bars except at nights they hid away the TOP SHELF drinks. had a hard time getting a reservation at the other restaurants only got in 1 night and the restaurant was empty not sure why they keep turning folks away when there are tables available. Disappointed in the beach no swimming waters are very rough. Also 1 recommendations for the main restaurant is to ensure they keep the heat warmers under the Food as sometimes the Food was very cold and you could not enjoy eating . Also more entertainment is required at night. There was not a lot going on at nights. ***

Bel Air Los Cabos is under new ownership. The new name is Krystal Grand. They are under heavy renovation, but they are making expedient progress. This place is located in the "Hotel Zone" or hotel row between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo. Closer to San Jose. This area is very quiet, without too much pedestrian traffic. Perfect for a peaceful romantic get away.

From the lost reservation to the confusion every time we went to eat, this place does not function well as an all inclusive resort. Keep in mind that this location is a great distance from entertainment venues. There are no safe swimming beaches here. They mix guests that paid with all inclusive tickets with guests that have to pay for every drink and meal with no way to distinguish between the two. This is a great LOW BUDGET place to stay. Don't spend much money to stay here.

Great location if your priority is relaxation. The hotel is steps from the beach. Staff are courteous and helpful. The oceanfront room provided a great view of the ocean.

Staff was very good. I swam in the ocean every day. The beach was nice. There are two hot tubs. The restaurants are nice. The Bel Air is within walking distance of downtown San Jose Del Cabo. A block away is a car rental for $35 a day and an Oxxo store.
The clientele is about 75% Mexican, 15% Canadian and 10% from the United States. The Mexicans guests are wonderful. About 99% of the Americans are government workers, so you know what that means.response / report this review -

Absolutely awful. Came here looking for a relaxing vacation. Then, after we had called multiple times to confirm our reservation and say we would arrive late at night, our room was "occupied" (the person at the front desk had given it to someone else). We were then relocated to a suite with a "couch bed", which has neither a matress nor sheets, and the room has a kitchenette with no dishes, utensils, or basic cookware, and a closet without hangers. You can hear every car that passes on the highway very loudly. I keep trying to find something nice to say, but there simply isn't anything there. Our friends who made their reservation with us had an even worse room, resembling that of a motel 8. Absolutely unacceptable, and false advertising as well. Do not be convinced by the pictures. DO NOT COME HERE.
