Lovely staff and well looked after. Good selection of day trips on offer. Thoroughly recommend the Ourika Valley tour and tour guide.

I only had breakfast with my son there. This is my 3rd time to have breakfast there in 4 years.I love the greenery in the hotel. The breakfast is great. Service is excellent. Enjoy the photos.

Sofitel is a chain hotel, not everyone are the same. The one that at this location is the five star one.

I have been coming to this hotel for many years and always though that they had great customer service until this year! I could not book into the hotel this year as they did not have the availability so book in a hotel near by and bring my children here nearly everyday so they can swim as they love the pool here, and spend at least £200.00 a day to use facilities and lunch etc. Today I was treated so badly because I don’t speak French and was not staying at the hotel the towel man around the pool was so rude and demanded to see my receipt even though he sees me here all the time and most of the staff know me if it weren’t for my kids I would of freaked out the cheek of him so disappointed

Initially I was anxious as I had 12 friends with me arriving in Marrakech to attend a wedding. We had booked the Sofitel, and from day one we all were immensely impressed. We organised a cocktail reception on the first night in the Lawrence Bar, the service was exceptional, outstanding was Wiam , (manager) accompanied by the following staff, Ciam, Medi, and not but least Tariq. The hotel itself were falling over to assist in any matters . I would certainly return and recommend this place to anybody unsure about going to Marrakech as a starting for an adventure!!!

Pretty luxurious hotel in the heart of Marrakech. Once you know how to ask, the service is very good. Superb breakfast. Spacious gym and large pool, various restaurants and bars. Pricy, but you get a lot in return.

Upon check-in, we were disappointed to learn that we would get points on our accor card because we did not book directly (this is strange), but more so that we were relocated to the imperial wing and not the lounge and spa as we had booked with British Airways. We later found out that the lounge and spa was undergoing renovation. Nevertheless, the rooms were satisfactory. To lobby was grand but we were disappointed that smoking was allowed in the lobby. The highlight of our hotel experience was the breakfast and the staff there, especially Fatima (waitress) and Zinedine. The food on offer was great, the service was great and the breakfast room was very pleasant. The pool areas was good too, although a bit crowded. The spa was well located and the staff pleasant too, especially Yousif. The location of the hotel, on the border between the old town, 10 minutes away and the new town of Hivernage, was great, with walking distance to good restaurants. We would love to visit again but only at the lounge and spa.

It was amazing. From the very moment I stepped into those front doors, to the end. I can't praise the service highly enough. I need to give a special mention to the receptionist Wafa. She literally went up and beyond, and I can't mention her enough. From the very moment I checked in to the end, I was dealt with by her, and I am truly grateful.
She is, and am sure will be the many reasons I will keep coming back. She dealt and handled my queries and problems with ease, and in a professional manner. She's an extremely beautiful woman, very easy on the eyes, and that was a bonus to see every morning!
This hotel in a nutshell, is a must visit place!

Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever (Ibtesam), so lovely and great first impression of hotel. Fortunately everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in all of its facilities (the pool, the restaurant, and the spa). I could go on but suffice it to say I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

My stay was for 19 nights and although on business the overall experience was as if I was on vacation. Excellent facilities, excellent staff.
My only observation was that everything beyond the basic room attracted a supplementary charge. As a guest at the hotel I would expect at least free use of the steam rooms and sauna.response / report this review -

the location is great. problem is the service. takes a while for requests to arrive since our room was located at the back end of the imperiale part of the hotel. case in point, yesterday the front doormen said that they will deliver my carpet after unloading it from our service car. an hour later we went out for dinner without the carpet arriving at our room. after inquiring at the front desk, it was revealed that the carpet was inside the baggage room. so no service coordination. however the property makes up for it.

Beautiful building, great tea. The building is beautifully designed and the garden is well crafted. So lounge is good but unusual as it doesn't open till midnight properly before then it's a restaurant. Once your in don't leave, specially if your in a group of boys as they won't let you back in.

Do not book this hotel,everyone is trained to have a big smile and lie through their teeth,from very beginning you walk in you will be told that you have been upgraded not a extra premium but a double extra premium,after going to our very noisy and small room i went and i asked that what would a regular room would look like as suppose to my double extra premium and boy i got the runaround until i gave up.
all the blames and deficiencies would go to an invisible manager that was never available.
Extra charges without explanation and just big meaningless smiles and offering you free old tea that tasted so bad like sewer with mint.
I had two local ladies that were waiting for me to go to dinner and had 2 soft drink in the lobby and they added 80 euros to my bill and when argued that they are waiting in lobby for me and never been in my room they took it off the bill.
After words I booked with Airbnb and did not have to deal with hassle.response / report this review -

Great time in this hotel. Very welcoming , great food in the hotel restaurant. Hotel team is very kind and keep you very comfortable. Spa is ok even if massage could be improved but this is very personal point of view . Very well located. Concerning the room : nice clean and comfortable but some construction work was been done on above levels when we were staying so little noise during the day. Hotel management should have prevented it in advance rather than letting us discover it still overall nice stay. I strongly advice this hotel.
Chauffeur services are expensive but great. Some for concierge offers.response / report this review -
