Small, modern, free for students. Worth a visit considering all! Each exhibition in the house is unique and thorough, despite the size.
Small museum with nice collection flemish masters and interesting temporary thematic expositions
a nice place with varying exhibitions. bringing children is okay. the exhibitions will probably not interest them but there is a side room, full of cushions on the floor and books for children. a nice idea. sometimes, there are workshops for children. in summer, the garden in front of the villa is open for everybody. chairs and tables are provided for everybody to bring their own lunch. during 90 minutes around noon a mobile vendor is in three lobby of the museum to cater for hungry office workers this is a museum that really tries to be part of everyday society
Free art gallery with 2 good exhibitions
Very nice museum that does not overwhelm the visitor with many objects of art. Sometimes less is more.
A very nice and cosy museum, we spent there a good afternoon with our young kids. The small size of the museum is compensated by the quality of the collections. And we had the feeling of being alone with the paintings and sculptures.
Lovey house well worth a visit
When you are in Luxembourg, spare half an hour for a visit to Villa Vauban
They have a nice collection of art and if nothing else sit and relax in the beautiful garden. Currently they have an exhibition of the photographer Edward Steichen which is well worth the €3 entrance fee. If you are on the sightseeing bus it stops right outside and from there walk up the park to the panoramic elevator.
Interesting expo Jerome Bosch
A well designed renovation of an existing building, set in a beautiful park; perfect for its purpose. Well laid out exhibits with plenty of information, especially considering guide books can be borrowed from the reception free of charge. Some true masterpieces to be observed, the building itself being one of them.
Nice building, fairly interesting collection. 5 stars for the organization and for the free visits on the friday afternoon!
Very nice little art museum with beautiful restful gardens. It's surrounded by a park and accessible by foot from more than one entrance. Open air music presentation are held there, check their website for the program.
Its very small and really doesn't have anything out of the ordinary, nonetheless the museum is tourist friendly and not to expensive. Although I do believe they have a lot of wasted space
