A wonderful modern art museum, world class and among top 3 if you are a big fan of architecture and art installation. We visited when there is the exhibition of Susumu Shingu. His brilliance works underpin the harmony of nature, winds and water. There are numerous activities like guided tours,
Live performance, documentary during the day. The site offers a lovely walk around and stunning view of town landscape. We were lucky that it was a Museum Day. Free entrance coupled with amazing experience really made it among the highlight of our trip here

The building is marvelous.
The exhibitions are I can't tell because I know absolutely nothing about modern art. I visited 2 exhibitions at the MUDAM and the only thing I can say is that they are interesting. They probably have a meaning and a purpose. I hope. Again, I know nothing :-)

Great museum for art lovers. I think that exhibitions always changes and sometimes it could be more or less interesting. But still this is a nice place to spend a rainy day or something even if you are not a huge art lover or specialist.

steadily changing exhibitions of very interesting art (that's of course up to everybody to decide for herself). the cafe in the museum is worth a visit for itself. very friendly waits. lots of space for everybody to sit as if in one's own private space. nobody mins your kids running around. the cafe stresses bio food and drink. good quality. the architecture by famous architect Pi is astounding. how he managed to inscribe the ultra modern museum into the ancient ruins of the fort is a miracle a must see in Luxembourg

In an intersection of Euro buildings, old woods and the Three Towers fortifications, this museum is architecturally striking, full of light and space and gives a feeling of fluidity with regard to curatorial policy. I was pleased to see that Pop was present but not Expressionism.

I love this museum and I want to thank to all those who put pictures on this page - they've made my day! Wow! What a great discovery, I'm delighted, I'm happy, I'm dizzy! Mudam Museum is, in my mind, in top three museums of the world and I have to ask you to receive my gratitude for all your efforts - you're the best, bravo! I will come there someday, no doubt, even that will be in a future life! Thanks a lot, it was an amazing experience to visit your museum!!!

Surprisingly small for a museum that looks big. Am not a fan of abstract modern art but there are enough interesting pieces. If you're a student 26 and below you get in for free!

Really nice museum! It combines amazing architecture with extravagant art. One also has a great view on Luxembourg City from the park behind the museum.

A beautiful modern art museum. The architecture itself is already an art piece. Built on top of the ruin of fort thüngen, it symbolises something new coming out of something old, which is exactly what modern art means to me. The exhibitions are mindfully curated and presented. The staff is very friendly and also knowledgable about the art.

Amazing museum! The building is a piece of art in itself. I really recommend. I however thought it was more contemporary art than modern, but maybe it's my definition of the art that is different.

The Modern art museum of Luxembourg is a large museum of modern and contemporary art, which is fully accessible to peron with reduced mobility. Nice week-end brunch place. Absolutely a place to visit in Luxembourg city.

No visit to Luxembourg is complete without a visit to Mudam
There is always great exhibitions and you can easily spend a few hours here and they have am excellent cafe as well and they have a nice menu on Monday to Friday and a great brunch on weekends. The entrance fee is €7 for adults which is good value.

Its a very nice way to show modern architecture and art. Good for birthday parties and one can go there for a cheap price so you can go there after work or if you have free time. It normally isn't very full there.

The standing collection is not so good.

it is literary the best museum of contemporary art in Europe. I loved everything - "Black ink" installation, paper figures, silent movies, the chapel free entrance for students!

One of biggest museums in Luxemburg but not huge. Good to visit for free time. There is cafeteria too.

Not normally a fan of modern art, but the collection of exhibits in MUDAM is a variety of jaw dropping and mind boggling. Some of it makes little sense to me, and begs the question of the artists sanity, but on the whole this was a great museum to visit. The building itself is a magnificent spectacle to behold.
