Very well decorated and historical accurate museum. A lot of authentic ww2 clothing, weapons and vehicles are on very impressive displays. Strongly recommended for anyone interested in the 2nd world war. The audio guide is a must, very educational!

This is the best and largest museum I have ever visited specialized on World War II. you can see and touch the heavy vehicles used in World War II. military tanks, automobiles, artillery. rifles, machine guns, knives, foods, equipment, medallionsthere are some exhibitions showing the daily life of soldiers, you can spend whole day here. i certainly recommend this museum if you are nearby in Luxembourg. you will not regret it.

The museum is not small at all and rather unique. You do not only get to see the artificats and mannequins of the Luxembourgish soldiers but also from the allied and German ones.

It is furthermore cheap with the price of 5 euro or for students only 3 euro. All in all this is definitely an hour or two well spent and even if you are not a military fan I am quite sure that it will be interesting.

One of the most important things to visit on Luxembourg. The details of the stories told there, the hundreds of thousands of items to see each one with its history is incredible It gives you the perception of what was the WWII for both sides. You can take 3 to 4 hours to see it all, it's a really complete collection. The souvenirs are just incredible. Definitely worth it! (not free for students)

Fascinating to learn about WW2 tools and equipment used by both sides. The audio guides are easy to follow too. Unfortunately two of the rooms were unavailable during our visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed this museum. Was somewhat creeped out by the lifelike mannequins used in the displays, thinking they would come to life like in the movie Night at the Museum.

The building is deceptively large as there is a whole room dedicated to war time vehicles. I would highly recommend a visit to this particular museum.

Amazing place, huge amount of US Army paraphernalia relating to the Battle of the Bulge. Lots of diaramas showing scenes and all information given in English, French, German and Dutch.

Huge amount of mainly ww2 equipment, big dioramas illustrating the context. Maybe a bit overwhelming, they could probably prune the collection and still tell the story.

We were given a great tour of the museum and had the history of the building and the interior well explained. The rooms are packed full of history and there is plenty to look at. We all enjoyed the day and learnt something new.

An informative full size diorama museum which also showcases a huge variety of display pieces. The armoury is an interesting twist on the usual stereotypical WW2 weapons with some oddities. The post-war Luxembourg Army exhibition is interesting as I don't feel much is known about the contributions of this small Grand-Duchy on the world stage. Only let down is the layout, more specifically being able to track the rooms for the audio guide. There are numbers but a few floor arrows wouldn't go amiss

At first there is a great impression to this museum as you, in the first room, can watch different video documentaries, a great communication method that brings out the human perspective and brings the subject alive.

But in the rest of the museum there is little info, and what there is is written in small writing, basically rendering this as a presentation of war time artifacts and uniforms (which though, all are bountiful).

Well worth the 5 euro entrance though.

Great museum with good displays and lightings. Entry fee is cheap! I've payed more for museums which are a lot smaller.
