Amazing place. Free entry. Worth spending the time to have a look. Very modern and really well put together.

The outside of the building is ugly but the inside is very well suited for expositions. We visited the paintings from 19th and 20th century. This is a small but nice collection. Well worth a visit. The entrance is free (except for temporary exhibitions) so go in and have your pick of art.

Good place to know about Luxembourg history and art. Research results from the prehistory till the Roman empire time are exposed as well as art pieces from artists coming or living in Luxemburg

The history of the world exhibits on the lowest levels are well laid out and they have some very interesting collections. Friendly and helpful staff too.

Great museum with a lot of paints of contemporany art and archeology pieces. The entrance is free for the permanent exhibition, you only have to pay if you want to see the temporal exhibition too.

Very well organized. Everything about history, tradition, art, culture of luxemburg. You have also a very good ciew to the city. I liked that was very interesting.

Amazing museum! We had to pull our kids out of it. Every floor is dedicated to an era of the (Pre)-history of Luxembourg and the museography is of very high quality. We loved as well visiting the historical houses that are connected to the museum.

It is 8 floors of exhibition. Fortunately this museum is free (except the temporary exhibition, 7€). So if you stay for several days, you can visit a floor or 2 per day.

Huge museum and free none the less! Fantastic Roman mosaic and artifacts. Really well put together and had English translation in booklets. Newer exhibits have English on them.

Free entry and interesting architecture, as you move to the floors, you move up through history. Great for a rainy day in Lux City.

Very nice museum. They have free entry when only standard exhibition is available. Coffee place is cosy and serves delicious cheesecake.

The building does not reveal from outside what it conceals inside. Worth spending time visiting the permanent art collection as well as the temporary exhibitions.
