Nice place to visit and see the history, if you have a booklet or a guide. Inside there is no information about what you are seeing or where to go. Would be a wonderful sightseeing visit if more was done to help visitors understand.

A must visit attraction in this charming Luxembourg. The casemates, and its extended route from the casemate, give us total view of the amazing valley. Beautiful, charming, peaceful path with layers of the walls, its accompanied nature ecosystem and trace of human civilization after generations make it such a unique place and well worth to be a UNESCO site.

I rarely give places one star. The reason for this is because I didn't even have the opportunity to try anything. We walked in, took a little bit to be seated. After being seated no one brought us menus or said anything to us. We waited around 25 mins and the table next to us got sat and they received menus and help right away. We left after that. Not sure why this happened but wouldn't recommend this place.

a journey through history! some nice spots for taking photos. entrance fee is reduced if you're a student. there are not many direction signs inside and you may get lost a little bit so don't forget to bring the map with you. also beware of the narrow and spiral staircases.

Beautiful place with beautiful views. A lot of history hidden under. A must visit place in Luxembourg. Would have been more better if it had an audio tour.

Very interesting place to see. Might be a bit triggering for those with claustrophobia in some places but there is a nice view on the city from that point. I'm giving 4/5 for the price to quality ratio. Overall, good experience and would recommend it to others visiting Luxembourg.

This is a 'must visit' place in Luxembourg. Ticket price is €6. Place is awesome. Read a bit before going. Guided tour would have been better, but I didn't see any guide around.

A view across the valley is absolutely a must for any tourist. Steeped in history this is the ultimate place to stretch your legs and do a bit of a walkabout. I do envy the people who actually live in this valley.

Since I am a native Luxembourger I have been here multiple times. Of course it becomes boring when you visit it too often.

However, visiting it every few years is amazing and visiting it for the very first time even more so. You van actually experience a bit of history.

Just be careful as the steps can be very narrow.

Take note that they're not open during winter. Check the official website for dates. Even if it's not open, you can explore around to get some pretty good views. It's amazing how integrated the casemates are with the city. Will definitely visit again.

Very interesting touristic activity to walk a path inside a very old fortress. You can do it really fast just to have a different sightseeing of the Luxembourg city from several windows, or taking your time to read all the information and learn about it. Closed during cold moths, because it gets cooler inside, so great for summer. Sad that they closed a part of it to public so now is only a shorter walk than it used to be.

Nice if you like history and can understand what must have gone into building this. Some narrow staircases. Unfortunately very "touristy" dressed (spots, many signs etc) However in some spots you do feel you are exploring and curiosity of what is behind the next corner takes over. Downside is that this never goes on for long and a lot of things just end in a dead way (closed doors or you just come back where you started)

A very interesting tourist attraction. It looks like just a dungeon in the mountains at the first sight. However, once you start exploring it, it becomes more and more interesting. In addition, it is also quite a good workout if you truly explored every corner of the site.

One of the main attractions of the city, a very nice place to visit and to work out after a good lunch. There are trails and tunnels into the rock. They give you a map with the rooms and tunnels but the drawing it’s not helpful. From its balconies there are some great views of the city.

A really interesting series of tunnels with fantastic views of Luxembourg. Some small quibbles: The signposting down in the tunnels is difficult to follow. You end up traipsing up and down spiral staircases, not sure where you are going. You have a brochure which has a map but the signposting could be clearer, so that you don't have to spend five minutes looking at the map to work out where you are.
Also, the lighting in the first part of the tour, where there are some boards with text on them, is way too low. It feels like a badly-lit nightclub and the text is really difficult to read.
But on the whole this is a highlight of any trip to Luxembourg.

Probably the main attraction in the city, often called 'balcony of Europe'! It's a beautiful place to go to. You can walk through the trails and centuries old tunnels. There are two lifts operating nearby, one of them with stunning view! The platform is made of glass even the floor so that you can look through under your feet! Caution: not for faint hearted! Enjoy travelling

Good long opening hours. Closes 830pm
Lots of stairs but not needed to see the main gallery.
Lots of little balconies/lookouts.
I imagine it would be nice at blue hour for photos. It was raining when we went.
4 stars as I think they can put some more informative boards/exhibits to break the monotony. Once you go past the entrance it's a longish winding tunnel that starts to look the same, only different sizes and some rocks have moss. Can be completed in 30 minutes with photo stops.

Great attraction and very interesting.
The leaflet they give you when you enter tells you all you need to know.
Not for the claustrophobic (dark, low, long tunnels) or the unstable (narrow spiral staircases).
Well worth the ticket price.

Lovely place to visit if you like fortifications. In some areas it can get a bit dark and narrow, but I think that adds to the charm. Great views of the city.

Very interesting and historic part of town. Just be aware that the information signs are only in German and French if you are hoping to learn anything specific.
