convenient and a closest station to highlevel Road
Pretty good. Facilities need to be further developed,Such as health care facilities
Long platform and easy accessibility.
A sub station at kelani valley railway line. Parcel exchange possible in here. Get busy in mornings and evenings. Restrooms available and you should ask the key from office. Station master is a quite helpful person. Most of the time a ginger cat walking around the station and he is kind of lovely. 😄
Not like in coastal line.Need to be upgraded as this is 2020. Old trains also
Very carm and usefull place.
It's very easy to reach this station from 138 bus route. Tickets are very cheap in price. (Pannipitiya to Colombo fort Rs 30/=)
As a service they issue monthly season cards under subsidy.
I've attached time table and revised ticket prices with this review.
Located facing the Kotrawa-Borella Road. Even the express trains stop in this station. Usually there's a huge crowd for the office trains.
Very convenient service for both private and government servants. Convenient transport from Colombo Fort to Awissawella. Express trains stops here. No tiredness. Lots of office employees are using this means of transportation now a days cause there are eact times for both departures and arrivals.
Local train sub station. This rail line does not have a large number of trains running per day. but the ones that do run are quite crowded on working days.
The station itself is pretty basic. The only staff on site is the station master. There is a washroom here, which is not very clean. There is an overhead cover for rain, and some seats.
There is also a small area outside the entrance where a couple of vehicles can be parked.
The platform is shorter than some of the trains that run on the line, so getting down and up to the train can be difficult especially for the very first and tail end compartments.
4th station I seen on my awissawella journey.
Busy railway station at the morning and evening. Length and height of the railway platform is enough to enter to the train. But need more facilities for passengers.
Located neart to pannipitiya flyover
These days it's under renovations
Very useful railway station for daily working people near pannipitiya. Trains available mostly in 6.00am to 8.00am and 5.00pm to 8.00pm. In the morning period trains have to go to the colombo fort railway station side. In the evening period trains have for other side.
One of oldest station in Kelanivali line. Nothing changed exept railway and platform.
Distance in KM - from Fort 19.012
