This is one of busiest train station but facilities are not enough. Atleast there are not enough chairs for passengers. Almost every office train is stopping here where you can go by main railway line.

Another railway station that is run down. No public facilities. Very dirty. Unprofessional staff. Expect long queues, delays and cancellations. Can easily reach base line road from this station

The station itself is decent. Train schedules are on the Internet & is reasonably on time. Best public transportation method to travel if your destination lies in line with the station network. Surely beats busses any day. (4 stars for the station, not for the train service)

One of the popular & crowded railway stations around Colombo area. Trains are never on time (usual with SL train networks) No display for train times or delays. DO NOT USE THE SEATS. It is full of Bed Bugs which will leave you with lots of bite marks on you.
