No washrooms available and water line is not pure enough to be used. Seating area is mostly used by beggers and homeless people. Facilities is still not developed up to the standards of today.

Very poor facilities for passengers, still the old systems as when British ruled the country, poor Railway services,trains also very poor quality & dirtier, passengers are so much for trains which are not enough to cater the demand. Most crowded in office hours & passengers are fell into a greater extend of trouble.

Good station near to kandy road. If any train passanger needs to go kelani temple, get down here.Toilet and restroom facilities are available here. Cleaning and maintaining are doing properly. All maintaining works done by Buar company. Normaly very crewd at morning and everning time. Therefore additional time will taken to issue the train tickets. Lot of trains are stop here compared with wanawasala.

This railway station is very useful for office staff and Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara devotees as this station is 4KM away from the Temple, also this Railway Station is situated close to A1 Kandy Colombo highway, this Station can be used by Kelaniya university students as well, well maintained by the railway staff, this station used to transport fertilizer to several towns.
