Baseline railway station located in between Welikada prison and Dematagoda market. This is not busy station when compared to others. Maintaining of station Environment seems to be 😒😒.
From here you can get direct train for Avissawella and Colombo Fort root.

Usually busy since it’s on the Kelani Valley railway line. Tends to get painfully crowded during mornings and evenings since a huge crowded traveling to and from Awissawella, Homagama, Maharagama and Nugegoda areas end up here.

Baseline Road Railway Station is the easiest and fastest path to travel from Dematagoda, Borella areas to Nugegoda, Maharagama, Kottawa and all the way to Awissawella during evening peak hours. Very conveniently located on the Baseline road. Bus route numbers 135, 154, 178 stops here.

One of the major station in Kelani Valley railway line. But small in size. Usually crowded in office time. Very close to the base line road. Close to Borella & Dematagoda. Single line railway. Very limited facilities in the station. All the trains will stop hear including express trains
