This place looks the same since I first knew it. No facilities for public at all except for few benches for seating. The 689 (Nugegoda-Hokandara) bus stop is right in front of the station if someone needs to travel elsewhere after getting down from the train.

It's saves huge amount of time if you choose to travel by train in mornings and evenings. But it's a basically one way travel each time. Udahamulla to Colombo in the morning and vice versa.
Google the departures for avoid inconvenience.
