This is not a major railway station and hence facilities are limited. View of the sea is very good.

Most of the trains stops here. It takes less time to go to Colombo fort station from here than using a bus. Recently renovation done. This place has a nice view of the Colombo Harbour and the sea.

Not a big railway station, but it has long platform. There are 2 line of railway and station at the middle of those. There is flyover, i recommend this flyover use for crossing railway. Because the railway not show clearly. If you visit down south to Colombo train this station will find next to bambalapitiya station. If you go to colombo to down south, it will find next to kompanyaweediya station.

Crowed Station specially in the morning & evening time. You can get a nice view of the sea since it is located very near to the sea.

The station platform has been reconstructed recently so the passengers can entrain and detrain without difficulty. Though they say WiFi facilities are available, it is not powerful enough.

You can go to this station and take train to fort railway station, it take around 10-15 minutes, you can see the most beautiful sea in Siri, the breakfast near the station is cheap and delicious, the milk tea also good!

Good location to access several parts of the Colombo city as connecting buses start right next to the station. Sad that the station is not maintained.
