    Very beautiful place
Nice view when the mist came. It's look like the water is falling from the haven.
You get a great experience when you came to this fall through Devils stair.

The tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka. It have a natural pool. Its better if you can go to the top of the waterfall because there is a more beautiful natural pool. But its a dangerous path to there. So be carefull. If you can reach there early morning you will lucky to see that misty beauty view.

Srilankas tallest waterfall located in Kalupahana. It is located around 5km from main road, admission counter remains open until 5 pm and staffs also will be there. Nice pond is there. Best place for picnic. There is a small bunglow nearby to stay but needs to reserve in advance.

An exciting place with heart touching beauty. You can reach Bambarakanda Falls through Kalupahana junction.it is the easiest way according to my knowledge.Destination is nearly 6km away from Kalupahana junction.Good to hire a van or small vehicle other wise there will be a huge congestion becuse the road is very narrow. There is a ticket counter on the way to falls or you can go to top by eliminating it.

Loved the destination and the atmosphere at this place. There is a ticket counter in the entrance. You can reach the top of the waterfall from the road leads to devil's staircase which is stunning. Its a short hike to the waterfall ground and jumping into the natural pool isn't recommend by the authorities but some having a good time in it.

It's very good place for feeling the natural beauty. These days trekking to top of the waterfall is prohibited. Otherwise it will be another amazing experience for nature lovers.

Awesome place to visit if your a nature lover! Its safe to have a bath at the base pool. Trekking to the upper pool is an amazing experience but unfortunately this was recently prohibited since a death was reported. But i honestly think the restriction will probably be removed soon due to the popular demand of the hike route.

The cascade is not in it's best form around June - August. Avoid weekends if you don't enjoy crowds. The pond underneath is quite safe and the area is properly maintained. Since recently, it is prohibited to hike to the top of the waterfall.

Bambarakanda waterfall is the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. Situated in the hill town of Kalupahana near Haldumulla in the south eastern slopes of central hills. The area around Bambarakanda is rich with scenic beauty, rugged terrain, waterfalls, tea fields and cool climate making it an attractive destination for nature lovers.

This is the tallest waterfall of Sri Lanka. The path to the falls is well built. There are even toilet facilities besides the road too.

The tallest water fall in Sri Lanka. There's no easy way to reach it. You have to trek through the jungle - an adventurous journey. Even kids can generally manage it, though. The rocky natural pool at the foot of the fall is an amazing place. If you are adventurous enough you can proceed to water falls through the jungle.

The highest waterfall in Sri Lanka.. Must visit destination.. Surroundings are fabulous.. Easy to get from Balangoda Kalupahana area. But worth to try it in other side.. From Ohiya to Bambarakanda on foot.. May be 18km walk. and it's totally awesome.. Cheers..!!
