This junction is LKR 40 away from the Haputhale town. Even you can get Colombo bus from this hault. Which is nearly cost LKR 370 and will take 5-6 hours. And the special thing is this is the junction where you have to take the road towards to the Bambrakanda Falls (5Km) and as well as the Wangedigala (3Km). There are few store also there, you can buy necessary stuffs from them.

It is 5km to Bambarakanda waterfall which is the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. For the hiking lovers, you can get to Wangedigala from Kalupahana, which is around 3 to 4 hours hike and at the top it is a great camping site. And also famous Devil's stair also accessible from here.

It is 5km to bamarakanda waterfall which was the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. It is easy to reach the bottom of the road. This road then goes to ohiya through very difficult tertiary. 18 km from main road to ohiya. (boralanda - horatn plains road).

if u go to see bambarakanda waterfall u have to turn from this junction, from this junction to bambarakanda there is a 05 kilometers,

In colombo - batticaloa road (A4) you need to turn left to reach bambarakanda fall. That road forward to ohiya. So cold and too much wind going through there.
