Thong Bay guesthouse is a very friendly and quiet place to stay in Luang Prabang. The staff is excellent. They have a shuttle to the colonial town but you might as well walk which is more convenient if you are not interested in the nightmarket.

Beautiful apartments. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was delivered to the room and served on the balcony. The seating area overlooking the river was idyllic. My only criticism was that to order drinks, you have to walk up to reception. It would have been better if occasionally a member of staff would have come down to take orders.

The staff is great, very helpful polite and always willing to help. The breakfast was good and all the services are prompt. They also offer hourly shuttles to and from the central market area.

A beautiful guesthouse overlooking the Nam Khon River. They serve breakfast on your balcony and offer free bikes and a free shuttle into town. The rooms are big, very clean and have moskito nets. The service is extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! When we arrived they greeted us with homemade juice and bread. The rooms are very authentic with fans and air-conditioned. Each morning, they deliver your choice of 4 different breakfasts to your bungalow for free, all of which are plenty of food. Although they are about a 20 minute walk to the town center, they offer free transportation every hour in the morning and evening. They set up a scooter rental for 120,000 kip which went very smoothly. They also offer laundry for $2 USD per kilo. Upon leaving they gave us a good luck bracelet which was a nice touch. If we make our way back to Luang Prabang we will definitely stay here again!
