I booked a room at Sokxai through Agoda for Christmas day and when I arrived at the hotel I was told they NO LONGER USE AGODA, and although I already paid through the website, I was told there was no room reserved for me. I was then asked to pay almost twice the amount I already paid, and told I needed to deal with Agoda to get my refund. Even though the room was unbooked by any other customer, my reservation wasn't honoured and I had to find accommodations elsewhere. Such a disappointing situation, and now I see there are new reviews on the Agoda site, and the listing is still activeso I don't know what happened but this was a very unprofessional experience and so very disappointing. Not sure what the actual facilities are like, but this certainly reflects the management capabilities of the staff, and may be helpful for others booking.

Great family ran hotel. They were very helpful and the food was TOP! I would totally recommend it!

サッカリン通り沿いの２階建てちょっと高級なゲストハウス。
部屋は清潔、テレビ、エアコン、冷蔵庫、ヘアドライヤー、シャンプーや歯ブラシセットなどのアメニティあり。
ホットシャワーは湯量少なめで温度も不安定。無料Wi-Fiは安定してつながります。
コーヒー、紅茶などのセルフの無料サービスもあり。
朝食のホットサンド、フルーツサラダは今一つ。
朝３時くらいから近くのお寺の太鼓がなります。宿の前で托鉢風景も見られます。response / report this review -

Five star experience. A plaCe that makes you feel besides in a foreign land, you're among friends. Great for smart travellers who pays for value. This is a place at great location in the Heritage enclave. opposite the main temple, where we me can view Alms giving ceremony and a short walk within a short distance to shops, restaurants and both the morning and night markets. The place is well maintain with yourvery friendly staffs. We wanted to travel north and they went out of their way to find information's and help arrange for travel. Breakfast is provided base on rate or request. Sok Xai a lucky place. I would definitely stay on my next trip and recommend friends who's coming here.
