  Great value hotel -- quiet, comfortable, spacious and clean. Breakfast is a plus but pretty basic. About 10 min walk from Otsu Station and 8 min walk from the Lake.

  My daughter and I stayed at Toyoko INN Otsu Biwako Kyoto. Twin bed room, we slept very confortably. Next morning ,We took breakfast .It was simple morning dishes. Total price was very resonable, 7000 JPN Yen.

  As always good value for money with breakfast included. Tough climb out of Otsu on the road in front, to Kyoto and Osaka.

  Near Japan's largest fresh water Lake - nice to linger - Cheaper than in Kyoto and maybe 40-50 minutes drive - if you have a rental car - includes free simple sushi and salad breakfast
