Smoking floor (3rd floor) was intensely saturated with old cig smoke. You could smell it in the hall let alone the room. However, the smell disappates eventually with open windows. Breakfast was small but very nice.

We got the room near the end of the hallway and it was very spacious, except the bathroom. Very nice and clean business-type hotel. Close to Ishiyama JR station and a McDonalds. And it's far from the city center.

Very nice rooms, friendly staff, and the facilities are perfect. Breakfast always consists of Japanese or western style.

This hotel was ok. It served the purpose and it was cheaper for us than staying in a more central location. The hotel is quite basic and the room was tiny. Still we slept well and it was easy enough to get to Kyoto by train as there are many trains getting there

It's a good business hotel. Rooms are small, a little old, but is clean and cheap. Not much going on but if you're in Otsu and aren't looking for anything fancy and by the train, it's great

Location just walk around 5 minutes from Ishiyama station , easy access if you bring a big luggage. Room nice , clean and breakfast also good .

Great free breakfast and decent clean rooms. Opt for zero housekeeping to go green and to get some bottled drinks on the house!
