This is a nice hotel with great views of Lake Biwa and the mountains and sunset in the distance, but some of the rooms could use a refurbish.

Nice building with spacious room and spa. I liked the atmosphere, but the location was a bit inconvenient without a car. They have a shuttle bus, but you then have to wait for it.

Beautiful hotel with parking lots, large room which viewing Lake Biwa. Having fantastic lunch at 'French Belle Recamier' for my Birthday 🎉. Thank you Ms. Joey provided the best services. Recommended!!

Very courteous staff, spa and massage were great, six restaurants that are really expensive. Room was spacious and had good amenities. 4 stars because we faced some communication issues (most staff did not speak English) and the restaurants on site were very expensive (compared to room rate). Overall a good and relaxing place that is located in a quiet area

Great amenities such as the onsen, and a well stocked bathroom. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. The room was furnished more than adequately and clean. Check in and check out was painless even though I don't speak much Japanese.

Coming from Tokyo where hotels are ultra small, this accommodation is very spacious. Service is amazing. They had a whole crew to take us to our taxi upon checking out. Felt like a royal.
