When you book online you can get a room for cheaper. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, but if you don't smoke and you end up in a room for smokers, you might smell some smoke in the room. Even thou it's pretty clean, felt like the walls smelled like smoke.

Lovely and friendly staff. Stayed there for 2 weeks, rooms were always cleaned to perfection. Slight annoyances were the lack of smoking areas, areas to work from (although there is a desk in the room) and the breakfast got very bland quickly.

Hotel is clean, neat & complimentary breakfast 😆.
Enjoy coffee for free fr1 5:00-24:00.

This a really good modern hotel for staying in Hikone. It was the only business hotel I stayed in in Japan that had a choice of toast/jam and cerials for breakfast, nice when you crave for a change from the standard Japanese fare. It is only a minute away from the station, the otherside of which are places to eat. Ten minute walk to the castle, definitely worth seeing.

A number of the staff speak good english. It was not expensive, and would happily stay there again.

This is a nice hotel if you are staying in Hikone area for work or short visit. The cost is typically ￥５，６００ a night, but sometimes they run a special. The staff is very helpful and friendly and are able to speak English. Hikone-jo and most restaurants are on the other side of Hikone Station if you want to get dinner. The rooms are a bit small, but typical for Japanese Hotel Room. The breakfast in the morning is very good.
