Friendly staff and comfortable accommodation. The traditional breakfast and public bath are a must try experience.

Great location and friendly staff. Loved the room and the breakfast was delicious. Very close to a train station and nishiki market. Really enjoyed the bath that they had too. Went when no one else was around so I had the place to myself. Great experience. It's a must while in Japan.

Very good for the tatami and futon experience, also Japanese breakfast, a little expensive though.

Wonderful staff. Everyone was very helpful in answering our question about Kyoto. Location is great if you plan on visiting the street market. Literally less than a 5 min walk.

This Ryokan is very advisable. It's location is really gut. There are many interested places that can be reached on foot and in reasonably time.

Rating only 3 stars.
Was great a few years ago.
Trying to email and communicate with them as a non-Japanese speaker is nigh impossible.
I have booked through a website and i have a confirmed booking with the website.
Although i have not been able to confirm the booking with the hotel over 10+ emails.
Even though I do some dodgy translations, have had no responses.response / report this review -
