Beautiful large room with great views. Very clean washroom, friendly staff. Great location, walking distance to everything. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future!

Rooms are clean, spacious, and close to many attractions in Florence. Prices are reasonable as well. Would definitely come back to stay here.

We were originally booked at a hotel closer to the river and promptly left after one night because it was so unclean. We found our way to Hotel Calzaiuoli and after being checked in by the friendly staff at the front desk and escorted by Patrick (the very pleasant bellhop) to our rooms, we went ahead and booked a second night to round out our trip in Florence.

This hotel is centrally located and is steps from the Duomo and the Uffizi Gallery, we felt close to everything. Lots of shopping, gelato, cafes, and restaurants.

The rooms are clean, the bed is very comfy. The bathroom was big enough for both my boyfriend and I to get ready at the same time.

Only reason for 4 stars is because the bar closes at 9pm and really I would consider it a half star. Otherwise, we LOVED this hotel and would definitely return.

The good stuff:
*The hotel is located in the center of town - great location
*Staff is very nice and efficient.
*The rooms are big and cozy, also the restrooms.

The bad stuff:
* Getting to the hotel and parking is very complicated.

I forgot to mention that the hotel for me is in the perfect location. All the usual must-go-to places are easily accessible. Just open your windows at night, let the air in and listen to the sounds of the area at night. Very relaxing.

Unbeatable location with helpful staff. The rooms were great, well stocked minibar and the mints on the pillows were a nice touch.

Lovely hotel, great location and super-friendly staff. Location is also a bit noisy, especially in the morning when the street cleaning cars begin running and pass by hotel every 20 minutes. We also got some mosquitoes in the room, early May, but that was because we opened the windows at night while our lights were on.
