Long line of people waiting to use the tiny WC. Only one shower was working those are my only complaints. Everything else was fine. Friendly staff.

I visited this place last summer. I saw their production of "Journey to the Center of the Earth", which is the best musical production I've ever seen in my life :) Wow! I was moved and touched and will never forget it!

Cool hostel with nice events in the summer and a cosy common room. Giving it 4 stars because the top bunk beds lack electric plugs (at least on the room we stayed), makes it hard to charge the electronics.

The rooms are great. The ambiance is amazing, met some interesting fellow travelers here. The only complaint I have is that they had just 2 washrooms and they were really really small. They really need to have more washrooms there, we had to literally wait for an hour to use it.

Amazing surrealistic place in the middle of nowhere! The cultural spirit and creativity are exploding in this place in magical Snafellsnes. Warmly welcoming, home-like feeling and down to earth approach / just brilliant!

This is a very cozy and friendly place for multicultural events; Dóra is a very good manager there. Thank you for this place!

Horrible place, the room is so small that you can't even open your bag, and there's a living room huge enormous, what a waste of space. There's a door between the kitchen/doors and living room that bangs so loud that is practically impossible to sleep. All the announcements are very rude "be quick in your shower if you want the next person to have hot water, it's electric shower not geothermal" which is a lie, its geothermal indeed. There no staff over there, they live at 9 pm and come back god knows when. So the clients can do whatever they want. I couldn't sleep at all, i would love to socialize in the big living room if I was not wrecked. Who goes to Iceland knows that there's a lot of driving and everybody wants to see the northern lights so when you go to your hostel you just want to have a good shower and sleep. It was the only bad experience I had in Iceland.

First off, the show was amazing, a reason in itself to make the journey to Iceland. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the entertainment was great, only real complaint is the pricing of the laundry. The charge is around 20 USD per a load which is a lot. Beyond that the hostel is top notch. The common room is extremely comfortable and easily can accommodate a full house without feeling cramped.

Great hostel, cordial staff, lots of bits and bobs to tinker around with. Grab your drinks in town and you'll have a conversation with a stranger toll the wee hours of the morning if your into that kind of thing. It was pink when I visited. Also, lots of artic seagulls seagulling about

Very tidy and friendly place with great people and atmosphere. There was a play in the hostel I had the chance to visit - it was a perfect ending of the tough hiking day. Totally recommend it!

We went here to see a show that our friend was in. Super quirky hostel, huge welcoming common room with all sorts of quirky things on the walls. I'd recommend stopping a night here if it's on your way round the ring road.

This is a really fun place. They occasionally have shows/performances and we were lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time as we were only staying there for one night. The staff are attentive and friendly. Although the kitchen/rooms are pretty small, the common area is huge and more than makes up for it. Finally, they have a bar!

I have several things that I could complain about (e.g., kitchen area is somewhat small, bedroom doors slam loudly and don't insulate noise, etc.), but you know what you're getting into when you stay at a hostel. Would definitely recommend for someone who isn't high maintenance.
