Really good hot chocolate and waffles. We also enjoyed the fish soup. The lady waiting on us was a little gruff, but the food and cozy location made up for it. We plan to go back some day.

Very nice staff and great view from the deck! This place is quite small so it might be full, and the coffee is maybe not the best in Iceland, but it's a great place for a snack and a rest while looking at the beautiful landscape.

Quaint tiny restaurant in the hill. I feel like it is a tourist trap though. The food was okay, definitely not worth the price. You can't beat the scenery. I suggest only grabbing a warm drink after a hike and skip the food.
Ordered both quiches- veggie and chicken- they were tasty but not worth $70CAD. Over priced food and even though Iceland is expensive this was one of the most expensive meals we had.
Service was disjointed. They should put up a sign that you seat yourself and order at the cash. The servers kept bringing bread and taking it back several times.
Like I said- great view but food is not worth the cost.response / report this review -

Few places in the world have this level of view. Obviously it's a very small cafe so it fills up fast at peak times. We got there and had to sit on the deck, I was bummed to noy get a chance to eat inside until I realized it's the best spit. Then they brought out blankets for us.

Wonderful place to have lunch and tea after hiking over the lava fields. Absolutely beautiful view, the soup and bread are wonderful. Very cozy! Beautiful stone beach below.

If your expecting to find a Michelin star restaurant hanging onto the side of a cliff with 6~ tables I'm afraid you'll have to keep looking.
This fantastic little gem is located right out by the water and serves simple delicious food. Feels like your invited into the owners house and she is feeding you. The quiche was fantastic and of course the homemade bread is as well. We sipping Tea and Coffee out of beautiful old china you would find at your grandmothers house. Our server pointed out an Orca in the harbour to us and it was the highlight of what started as a rainy cold miserable day.
Whenever I return to Iceland, I will return to this cafe as well.response / report this review -

Cute (tiny) place right by the water. Walk down from the parking lot to the cove to find it. A good selection of lunch fare: soup, sandwiches, and cakes.

Best fish soup I've ever had in my life. Delightfully creamy and with big chunks of fish in it. Fresh bread and a very flavorful mocha rounded out a delicious meal.

Beautiful spot, though limited food options for vegans. The outdoor patio is a lovely place to sit on a nice day, and there's a really cool natural archway and stone beach, like, fifty meters from here. A great start or end to the hike to Arnarstapi!

amazing views, excellent food, very laid back atmosphere. I recommend getting there right when they open as to beat any crowd; I did and had the entire place to myself.
