Very convenient for easy check in, big lunch room for tea, coffee and computer work. Hair dryer in the room. Breakfast included. Everything works out perfectly for my two nights there

Rooms are clean. Clean towel and an hair-drier are provided! Good continental breakfast. The automatic system for check in and check out it's very simple and quick.

Although advertised as a 3 start hotel it is nothing of the sort. Arrived to find no staff and reception not manned. Had to ring a number to get codes for front door and room. No tea or coffee facility provided at all. Breakfast is provided but that is the only time you can access that area. Shame as with a little work and staff it could have been a more pleasant experience.

    Outrageous! To avoid absolutely!

After making a reservation several months ago saying that we were traveling with our 10 months baby, we discover during check-in that the hotel has no child bed (as we had specified at booking ). From there, the young receptionist told us that we must manage by ourselves.

So we leave the room (old and looking like an hospital room) and we make sure that we will not have to pay for this room, as the services requested were not provided.

The receptionist told us that he have to pay. Stupor. After insisting we have the manager on the phone who says he does not want to get into that. Therefore we hit the road with our 10 month old baby and found an hotel 140km away.

Undoubtedly the worst experience in Iceland. A lack of professionalism grime. To avoid absolutely. There are few hotels in the area but it is better to do a little road rather than be faced with such thieves!

How can you let a family with a 10 months baby without any accommodation late in the day and so far from other places.
