TERRIBLE. We slept in the car in the middle of winter because we couldn’t check in after driving an hour out of the way. We booked this place while In iceland, the day we wanted to stay there because it showed availability. We get there and the entire hotel is shut down; no lights on, no one there. We call the phone number over 20 times and it says “busy, call back”. Even Expedia couldn’t get through to them over the course of 45 minutes. Then we go to the restaurant across the street while on hold with Expedia to get a refund and the restaurant staff says this happens all the time and that the hotel eventually blocked the restaurants number because so many people were calling it’s literally a scam. Avoid at all costs
Easy to book online. Self service. Great room. Good price
This is self-service hotel. There is a phone to contact the hotel staff. The line kept busy. Staff are helpless. The room is big but no hot water provided.
Location is fantastic. Nobody checking you in is very strange but it seems to work. Beds were very squishy and pillows were lumpy.
Breakfast was a good selection.
Olafsvikur nice place ☺
Great place to stay for a night or two. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance and lots of things to do nearby in the peninsula. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were very well insulated from noisy neighbors(all the walls appeared to be solid concrete).
Very big room I've stay in Iceland, and it's not expensive 99 EUR with breakfast. A little bit old, but clean and comfortable.
Very nice place with large rooms and private bathroom. Nice breakfast.
Room was clean, but very bland. Nothing exciting, just the basics. Front desk was not informative or nice.
Very friendly host. Had an issue with the TV and was kindly offered another room. Nice location on ring road itself.
