  The camp was closed but there was a house where we can park, use a small kitchen and a bathroom just talk to the owner. It's 1500kr./person.

  Beautiful spot. Right by the water. Did not have any laundry facilities. Not very helpful staff.

  The place is not a real campsite. It is just field behind owner's house where you could set tent. There is sink with cold water and run down building with toilet - dirty and with no electricty. We arrived at night and were charged 1500 ISK instead of 1000 ISK mentioned on price sheet. Worst place we've ever camped in Iceland.

  Absolutely fantastic, one of, if not the best place we camped on our trip, and that says a lot when it comes to iceland. keep in mind that it's cash only here.

  Fantastic view of Kirkjufell. Great for a quick stopover for a night's sleep.
  Campground was empty when I was there. Arrived late, around 11 pm, and just drove into the ground behind the house then paid next morning.
  Toilet in the field wasn't the cleanest and didn't have a light. Had sinks and washing up liquid though which was nice.

  Incredible view of kirkjufell from the camp site. The facilities are modest like most camping spots in iceland, just a single toilet, and a basin for washing dishes. Note that the campsite is cash only - this is so far the only place I've visited in iceland that didn't accept cards. Cost is cheap at 1000 krona per person per night.

  As far as camp sites go, it doesn't get much better for a view, (open the pic, its a pano, or at least it was, now its in the main photo folder). This is a nice family run place, the owners are super nice, but leave you alone too. I just had the initial interaction with them. Then nothing else. The toilet was nice and clean too. Thanks for everything, hope to be back!
