Safe, clean and quaint and staff is very helpful and friendly! Would stay again. The only reason not a 5 star is because they don't replace the cups with clean ones or take trash daily, or refill soapjust make up the bed (same sheets) and replace towels if requested. But otherwise lovely hotel and great breakfast! Close to city centre too.

Had a really good stay there. The location is pretty good. The staff were very informative and the breakfast buffet was far beyond expected. Also great that they offered indoor parking.

The hotel was great. Pretty close to town with a bus stop 50M from the hotel. Plenty of restaurants in the area to eat at. The breakfast every morning was worth the cost of the room. The room was small, but manageable for two people. The staff were great and very helpful and overall I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

Great hotel, friendly staff and fantastic facilities, amazing view from the front and only a short walk to local restaurants. Bar in the entrance served local beer and breakfast was great, a good mix on continental and cooked. Each room had little information on the wall about Icelandic tradition. Tour operators had a board posting information about the northern lights near reception which was great. Highly recommend a stay here! The pizza place next door and Sushi joint down the road are worth also visiting!

Our room was small compared to United States standards, but adequate. Good hot shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included but never varied day to day - always the same items. Over all good!

Arrived from USA flight and Gray Line bus transfer. Only staying one night with a flight too early for the next day's breakfast. They let us have breakfast right there and then. Fantastic staff! Breakfast was a mix of Nordic and British (baked beans) - very good. Staying overnight in Iceland truly helps with jet lag from overnight flights. We did the Golden Triangle tour with Gray Line. Fantastic. It was cloudy with no chance of seeing the Northern Lights. We also had two young children that made it impossible anyway since we had a Gray Line airport transfer pick up 4 in the morning to catch a flight to Copenhagen. Comfortable room for a family of four.

This hotel is absolutely perfect for staying in Reykjavik. The staff are extremely helpful, fully informed on all the different tours available, and the facilities the hotel offers. You can get anything you need at the hotel lobby. The breakfast buffet was great, perfect for filling up before making your way into town. The rooms themselves are simplistic, minimal, but very well decorated and has everything you need. Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommend this hotel! I can't say enough about it. We arrived early before check in so they got our room ready by 9am and fed us breakfast. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We needed transportation back to the airport and they set it up for us free of charge. The breakfast every morning was amazing and filling to get the day started. The location was great as it has plenty of good shops within walking distance as well as food options. If I could give it 10 starts I would! If you can get a mountain view room, totally worth it!

We stayed here for 4 days on our trip to Iceland and it was wonderful! The staff was so helpful, answering the phone at all hours of the day and coordinating with our tour company on pick ups/drop offs, or calling us taxis. The breakfast each morning was incredibly delicious and a wonderful addition to the stay. The rooms were clean and beautiful--modern and minimalistic. They had everything we needed, with beautiful views of the Atlantic and mountains. It was a quick walk to many restaurants and a five minute cab ride to the city center. Honestly, it was just a great place to stay and if I ever get the honor to return to Iceland, I'll be staying here again! Highly recommend!

I was put up here after my flight was cancelled, and I think I probably good the best deal. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and modern (though like all the Icelandic hotels I stayed in, a bit small). The included breakfast was the best of any I had on the island. The only downside is that, while its location is good, is say it is a bit out of the walking range for most of the restaurants and bars downtown.

One of the best hotels I have visited. This hotel has a beautiful Scandinavian minimalist design and an Icelandic calendar theme. The room I stayed in was absolutely spotless, compact and cosy. We had a picturesque view of mountainous landscape which was stunning on the clear days. Every room came with a complimentary breakfast; a wide selection of options continental and traditional English etc. Free breakfast was definitely a benefit in Iceland as we found it quite an expensive trip.There was also a bar which I never got a chance to enjoy but they do have happy hour which is always good. The staff was friendly and helpful with travel and restaurant advice. Lovely hotel. I'd definitely recommend it and would most definitely stay there again.

Very helpful staff. Room wasn't huge, but it was clean and well organized and the hotel was convenient--not too far from downtown. Pleasant public places to relax and socialize.

Nice rooms, good breakfast, and all staff are friendly and helpful. The night manager totally makes this place worth it. Really shows the care and concern for all customer happiness and well-being. Always willing to support with anything possible to make the stay enjoyable and the tourist travel a success. Would bypass the city center hotels and stay here again.

Compared to everything else in Reykjavik which is super expensive I found this hotel very reasonable and comfortable. Staff was nice and super helpful too.

Great hotel. The rooms are small but well designed, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The included breakfast the perfect start to and active day and is not too heavy and very quick. While not in city center it is a reasonable walk into the downtown and the bus line is right in front of the hotel. This is a very good value and a nice facility with an exceptionally helpful staff.

Small and simple but clean rooms. Floors, walls and the elevators have seen better days but the furniture is relatively modern. Reception staff wasn't particularly friendly.

Thank you Cristian! We had problems with our plane and our flight was pushed to the next morning. Other planes had a similar problem so all the hotels near the airport or completely overbooked. Managed to find this one with room in Reykjavík.
From the first call Cristian was extremely friendly and helpful, not being pushy when I said I was going to check and call back if I wanted the rooms.
Once we arrived we only had about four or five hours before we have to leave again to go back to the airport. He mentioned breakfast at 7 but we wouldn't have made it. Without skipping a beat he offered to have sandwiches and coffee ready for us in the morning as we were leaving.
Once we came back downstairs around 3:30 AM. He had 4 packed sandwiches with juice and apple along with coffee ready to go.
A taxi driver also appeared right after to take us to the airport. Great customer service which was very appreciated after a bad night. And those little sandwich bags will be a lasting pleasant memory of Reykjavik.

Good breakfast buffet. Staff very friendly and responded to emailed questions quickly. Nice view. Note, on a busy street and only book during the Summer Solstice festival if you want to listen to the music and not sleep!

Place is clean/modern but is a hike up to downtown. Be prepared to walk for a bit. I stayed here for about 5 nights on an Iceland tour and this place is targeted toward young travelers with a hostel like feel and bar. Front desk is super helpful for organizing events. Has breakfast.

Great hotel, great breakfast & good quality rooms.

About 40 min walk to the marina/ shops or 5 min drive- free parking at the hotel.

Rooms clean with a great shower and comfy beds. Tea & Coffee making facilities and safe deposit box available at reception.

Would stay here again.

Modern, clean, some local amenities and very friendly helpful staff.

We arrived in this hotel at around 1am but the staff were so perky and friendly that we felt instantly at ease as soon as we walked in.

The rooms were very clean with some amazing views of mount Esja. I must say, some odd things things happened in my room such as lights turning themselves on, TV turning on by itself it the middle of the night and taps seeming to run by themselves but to me personally it only added to the excitement of being in one of the worlds most beautiful countries.

As a general rule food in Iceland is pretty you know, not good, but this hotel did provide a very good breakfast and staff were happy to point out good local restaurants that were capable of creating edible food. The pizza place next door was great.

It is important to mention that the town center is a bit of a walk, Icelanders love a good walk but it might be a bit of a trek for disabled, elderly and general couch potatoes, though staff were happy to call taxis and coaches.

I would love to come back to Iceland at a later date and this would most defiantly be the hotel I book with.

Provided good breakfast every day with plenty of options, better than most hotels I've been to. Staff were friendly, especially night manager, Kristian, he provided excellent customer service, wonderful recommendations and was very personable throughout the trip. Only knock would be that the rooms were a little small, overall very pleased.
