A real good hotel. It's centrally located in Kef. The rooms are little bit smaller than I'm used to, and the TV's are really, really old.

Great breakfast, decent rooms, super friendly hosts that let us check in way earlier than the regular check in time. Location is a short drive from the airport. And most importantly, delicious free breakfast :)

Staying in the hotel tonight! Room/Hotel very dated.very rude reception staff who insisted it was us who had misused the key when we couldn't get into our room. After seeing for herself that the key did not work she did not apologise just simply said we must go back down to get another. When entering the room we realised we had been given a room with a very small double when our booking specifically said large double. We went back to the reception to query this again. We were told that was the only room available and then ignored. This was a lie as there were other rooms available on their website. Very poor customer service. Terribly uncomfortable bed. Poor amenities within the room (fridge doesn't even turn on). Very disappointed with the lack of respect for a paying customer

Older, well maintained hotel with a surly receptionist. Close enough by taxi to the International airport. Decent breakfast. Free rides by taxi from the hotel to the airport. Enjoyed a good dinner at nearby American style diner - Olsen Olsen.

Second time of stay here at this hotel, it’s cheap clean and they have updated the TVs. Location is spot on fort the Airport and there is plenty of local amenities

Excelent stay. Outstanding hotel with nice customer service. Free breakfast is a plus as well as free Internet. Espresso machine "all you can eat" 24/7 at the reception

Around 30-45 minute drive to Reykjavik, and 10-15 minute drive to the international airport. That's actually not that bad, as Reykjavik is busier than I would have preferred to stay at anyhow, but it also means that travel to almost anywhere else takes just that bit much longer. Free parking across the street, with lots of street parking around anyway even if the hotel parking lot fills up.

Rooms are on the smaller side, but are well kept. I wouldn't really consider the size a negative though, since we were out and about exploring the island most of the time anyhow.

The breakfast has a decent selection of foods that varies a bit from day to day (toasts, eggs, mini-pizza slices, quesadillas, fruits, vegetables, pastry desserts, yogurts, etc.). Free beverage dispensing machine by the front desk/lobby.

There is a complimentary gym in the lower level for guests that has a good selection of equipment (machines and free weights) and a shower.

I only spent one night at the hotel, however it was a great bed. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were friendly.

Breakfast was a great spread of delight and perfect start to first day in Iceland. The rooms in the guesthouse across the street were ok. Rooms got a little hot so we opened a window and the street was quite noisy most of the night. I recommend this place for the continental breakfast, service and friendly staff. They could make the guesthouse a little more inviting.

Perfect for staying before an early flight. Comfy rooms. Nice restaurant in an area with little options for dinner. Friendly staff. Free transfers to the airport.

Huge nice gym, good location near the ocean, fabulous free Icelandic breakfast, very nice pillows and comfortable bed, free wifi, a nespresso machine in my room!! (Beware of the shower tub. It is very high (I'm 5'8 and it was thigh high on me). It's difficult to get in and out of. )

Staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable, with nice amenities. The shower was recently upgraded, which was a huge plus. The hotel has it's own restaurant, which appeared quite nice - but it wasn't open during our stay. (It should be noted - if the hotel restaurant is closed, there aren't many places in the area open on the weekend, outside of fast food.)

We enjoyed our stay - the only complaint was that we had two twin beds pushed together, instead of one larger bed - a bit awkward for a romantic getaway! Would have given it five stars, if not for that.

Not sure where the high ratings come from. I never leave reviews, but between a broken elevator to a broken heating system and being told sorry we can't help you and to open a window if it gets to hot, the absolute worse bedding I've ever honestly seen in my life in a hotel, I must leave a review. If you r familiar with Super 8, well they blow this place away. The lobby upon entering is beautiful and it ends theredo not book here unless you really could care less about service or comfort. At least it has wifi :/
And be careful stepping out of showers as they wet the floor out of the bottom of the shower door glass

Better than expected, potential to be better. Hotel reception is great, after negotiating the steps that are NOT luggage-friendly. Staff courteous and accommodating. Breakfast speed is lavish and worth the stay. Be mindful of the single room, the bathroom cannot be accessed with door openLol. Hotel public information needs to be updated, for instance:- no shuttle service from airport, Restuarant not open on Sunday, the 4th floor lounge with view of harbour is no more. Overall, good.

My wife and I stayed here last week (23-27jan 2017) we was surprised at the quality of the hotel, very stylish, super friendly staff that are willing to help. Fantastically comfortable room, great decor. The free breakfast buffet was superb. The free coffee and hot chocolatier was a real winner.! Did not have the chance to sample the restaurant as we traveled a lot around Iceland. Super hot showers was great after a long day sightseeing.! What a beautiful country Iceland is, we both fell in love with Iceland.! Our trip was topped off with seeing the northern lights.! Great experience and we will definitely return and stay here again..! Thank you for your hospitality 👍
