Fantastic get away. Be prepared that it may come across quite expensive depending where you're travelling from. Coming from Australia, with the conversion rate, it became rather pricey. If that isn't an issue then I would highly suggest this hotel. Fantastic clean facilities, courteous staff, quiet vibe, all round enjoyable getaway.

Overpriced hotel room, below average breakfast.

-Only one towel in a twin plus it’s dirty;
-Cheap furniture you know i mean the chair
-Hot tub without light and cloth hanger;
-Breakfast serving only two kinds of juice and overall very few choice(comparing to other hotel we stayed in)
-Untrained stuff, took too much time when checking out( asking us when we checked in)

Good rooms. 1.5 bathrooms for 4 rooms was a little tough but ok. The food is ok but alcohol is very overpriced.

This hotel was a condo development before its conversion. It is notable for separate buildings with several spacious rooms each, and outdoor hottubs for all rooms. The dining room is spacious and bright, with good food.

We came here for dessert and coffee. The espresso wasn't espresso it was an americano. The desserts were delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the surroundings so much we stayed for beers. They have good local beers and the staff will talk you through them. I would love to come back and stay the night. There was live music which we enjoyed.

This is specifically for the restaurant; the Food is massively overpriced, and on receiving it was very overcooked. The lamb was inedible and the vegetables and cod were obviously previously frozen. My wife and I both did not eat our entrees. For a $200+ meal we felt the need to warn others away from this place. There is a lack of restaurants in this area but please go somewhere else if you are considering this place. The pizza place down the street would have tasted better and been cheaper.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE RESTAURANT ONLY. Definitely the most expensive meal I've paid for in Iceland thus far (nearly $300 USD) and for one of the worst meals I've ever eaten.
My husband and I have been honeymooning in Iceland for nearly a week and we decided to treat ourselves to what we hoped would be a nice dinner after a wonderful day of hiking and sightseeing. We love to travel, be adventurous and we love to eat. We are definitely not picky individuals and embrace the nuances of every place we go, but this restaurant just came across as a huge slap in the face. Just to be clear, my husband and I did not stay here so we have no idea what the accommodations are like (although thy did appear to be quite nice). However, I just interpreted this restaurant to be an insanely overpriced establishment, taking advantage of the guests staying there.
To be specific, my husband and I ordered the 3 course meal: Lobster bisque soup, he got the lamb, I got the cod, and the buffet dessert. The lamb cuts were terrible and overall severely overcooked. The "icelandic" cod was definitely previously frozen and so underseasoned it seemed as though you were just chewing freezer burned paper towel wads. The vegetables, also tasting of freezer burn, were all brown (broccoli, peppers and cauliflower). We took a few bites, were sad, and when our friendly waiter came by to ask how our meal was, we couldn't lie. He offered to replace our, meals but we knew that any restaurant willing to put out what we had received, would have no clue how to fix it. We kindly just asked for the bill, and and swallowed the $300 tab, and grumbled all the way to our room .
We hate returning food as I know the fault usually falls on the waiter, and he was quite kind, so just figured we would seek retribution by warning other travelers to not make the same mistake we made.
THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER PLACES IN ICELAND TO HAVE A GOOD AND MEMORABLE MEAL. We hope for the sake of others, this was an isolated incident, but I fear it is not.

Clean and tidy and all the block have their own hot tubs. Great place to stay of track. The restaurant is very nice and also serves great food.

The rooms were clean, roomy and comfortable. Evening buffet was amazing with lots of choice for non red meat eaters. The staff were very helpful and could not do enough for you.

Nice hotel. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The food is also very good and the restaurant is something to look forward to every day. The views are great too. The hot tubs are amazing and are filled with fresh water daily. Some rooms share some and some other rooms have their private hot tubs.
