If you're like me and you sit and look through reviews before booking anything, then look no further. The hospitality this place gives you is great, they're all kind people, they gave us a free upgrade, gas was actually full and clean when we got it, they didn't charge us for any pre-existing damages like I see other places doing. 100% I would rent from lotus again.

Renting from Lotus was a perfect decision we made based on Google reviews.
the check-in was super fast the car was new and clean and the guy never tried to sell us an unnecessary insurance . also we got a GPS that I don't remember paying for, and was great. returning the car was also very fast and smooth. very good job Lotus !!!response / report this review -

I rented a car from lotus car rental just because of the rating and it was a very good decision. I was very happy with the services, the prices and what I really like is that they send out an email cuz the weather was bad and i should be careful. I totally recommend them.

We rented a 4x4 Jimmy, but got upgraded for free to a grand vitara!
Very nice warm welcome by the crew and we were on our way in a blink of an eye

We chose this rental company because of the good reviews we read on facebook and google maps and overall we were satisfied with the service. The price was much better compared to other car rentals and the car was in quite good condition, but we could see it travelled Iceland a lot :) The only issue we had was that they tried to charge us for a bump on the front door that we did not cause. The employee was quite nice, he took pictures and sent them to his manager. It was very stressful 15min, but finally they decided it would not be fair to charge us for it, because the car was quite old. The weird thing was that this kind of damage would not be covered by any kind of insurance. Lesson learned: check the car extremely well at the pick up, because they will check it very throughly when you bring it back.

Pre-booked car and paid online in advance which was a good idea as I saw very long lines at the car rental counters in the airport. To get to lotus just head straight out of the main gates at the airport and follow a short covered path to the rental shuttles. The bus we took was clearly marked car rental. It took less than 5 minutes to get there. Lotus is stop number 2 but we got out at the first stop because we could see the sign on the building and just walked a hundred foot. Employee was friendly and car was brand new. I believe best value for money

Best car rental experience I've ever had. Dealt with John who picked us up at the airport and drove us to the office to fill out paperwork. John took his time to give as a detailed map of the country pointing specific points of interest to see asking or way including a restaurant that was the best of our trip (Pakkhus.) We rented a Suzuki suv for our two week ring road adventure. The 4 wheel drive was a definite advantage on the gravel and f-roads we encountered. At the end they picked the car up from our hotel in Reykjavik so simple. Can't recommend these guys enough.

Have nothing but positive things to say regarding this company. If you're looking for a respectable, trustworthy company for your rental needs - Lotus car rentals is your best bet. They picked me up from the airport in a timely fashion, gave me stellar recommendations on where best to travel based on my personalized travel plans, helped me learn to pronounce (at least some) of the town names and made me feel as welcome as they would a local. The best customer service I've received in quite some time, and I work in the service industry! 5 stars, hands down.
