Wonderful place, best lodging we have had so far here in Iceland. Lovely view of the mountains, would love to come back some day.

We had a wonderful one night stay here on our tour of the Golden Circle! It’s a great little place, and very close to Fontana Spa which is an awesome way to spend your evening.
I would caution other travelers to avoid Linden Restaurant which the hotel recommended to us. It is super overpriced, the food is really average and the service not very good.
The hotel also offered us a 15,000 ISK breakfast option which we took but it was super basic and not worth it. If you’re smart and frugal you will stop by the supermarket and grab food for breakfast on-the-go there.response / report this review -

Rooms were adequately sized, you get a cool room key, and the owners were extremely friendly and pleasant to talk to. The cafe that is attached to the rooms is a great place to stop in and grab a quick bite to eat. This was one of the best places we stayed on our adventure thought Iceland.

Place is amazing. Very comfortable room. Very fancy, well decorated, and clean bathroom with rain shower head. Great view over the sea and a nice hiking trail next to it.

Stopped for coffee in the morning before heading out of town, this seems like it would be a nice place to stay. Very inviting with a great view and cosy atmosphere.
