A great place, isolated and quite but still 7 minutes drive from the town of Borgarnes (a VERY small town, pretty much empty after 8pm). The hotel offers an included breakfast and a dinner service. Beautiful house and beautiful area, wifi in the rooms may be weak depending on the room, but very strong in the living room that also offers coffee and tea throughout the evening.

Nice place in the middle of nowhere. Rooms are big enough. Bathroom is tight but everything you need is there.

Spent one night at the Guesthouse. Beautiful farm house on a quiet property with a nearby waterfall. Friendly staff and a delicious cooked meal for dinner. We stayed in room 9 which was off the main building. Had a shower and washroom included. Private. Room blocked out the light well.. Plenty of place to relax and recouperate with coffee, tea and WiFi. Breakfast was also delicious and plentful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

cozy, old house in a beautiful area! breakfast is okayish, dinner is delicious and traditional, but rather expensive (5100 ISK for two courses)
